i love this band. i love that the spotted lanternfly makes an appearance. also i feel like in the 90’s on “orbiting pods” Quasi described a dystopian sci-future and now in the 2020s they have a similar effect just describing a normal day they just had, whew. Thanks quasi for still being a band!!

They certainly have been around for 26 years, but I didn't get into them until *Hot Shit!,* in '03. Been a fan since.

You got slurs that profit corporate "science"
There's a point when healthy suspicion of authority figures leads to one shooting oneself in the foot. You're the one in the wrong here, neighbor. You can criticize the corporations without throwing out the proverbial baby with the bath water, in this case that baby being a proven safe and helpful vaccine.
First of all 'proven' is not a scientific concept. It belongs only to axioms. The empirical method provides models of a phenomena that are helpful for making predictions, but those models are never the total truth, and suffer greatly from being rushed. You cannot just miraculously speed up the process. That you believe such is an act of faith. Faith in an infallible priesthood. An infallible priesthood employed by mega-greedy corporations that have a track record for exploiting and harming people. And now there is more evidence that the vaccines never did what we were told they were supposed to do, but the fervent fanaticism of the true believer can never back down. What is right and holy is right and holy, right? Praise the infallible priesthood of corporate labcoats!
It's so bizarre to watch unfold. I never thought I'd live long enough to see 'punk', 'anti-establishment', and 'anti-war', literally become everything they hated and fought against for decades; corporate shilling, big-government supporting, pro-war hawking, nuclear war endorsing, racist-by-any-other-name-shouting, self-defeating, blind, cannibalizing-itself, pedophile excusing, obliviously self-unaware...the muse is gone, dead, groped-while-asleep. Art speaks truth. But the formerly anti-establishment 'art' has become nothing more than self-congratulatory State Propaganda. Glad I left the binary, blue-red hellhole. Anarchy, voluntaryism, consentualism, NAP; it's the new, and true, counter-culture.
