I have no idea how I found this. It's really good. Hell yeah.
Going down Quasi rabbit holes are a treat
looking up the drummer from Sleater Kinney.
Look at Heatmiser too
Possibly my favorite album of all time, I'm so thankful yall made this it means more to me than you probably realize
I feel the same
Matt Sharp I feel the same way man. It has stuck to me like a flash frozen McRib but if a McRib could be a living thing like Frosty the Snowman.
instaBlaster...
I loved this album so much... Finding this reminds me why I loved it so much.. and its nice to see Elliott Smith smiling :)
too good for this planet
Thank you for posting these pictures. Such an amazing (but sadly, underrated) band.
Amazing album...never gets old for me
This song rocks my soul. Me and the souls of dead siblings dance to this song on a regular basis. Borderline Personality Disorder keeps me blissfully alone. Solitude is BLISS!!!!
one thing about quasi is that they don’t play AROUND. they go into the studio & slay & make some of the best music around & have done so for the past 30 years. happy 25 featuring birds !!
Every song a winner, not a lemon on the album. Thanks for posting, I just bought the reissue!
One of the best of all time!
I can really hear the sound of Quasi on this. Some of the chord progressions just scream Quasi haha. Also the drumming reminds me of Janet Weiss, anyone else? The rocksichord playing is really reminiscent of Sam Coomes' playing style. Really good emphasis on harmony and knowing how to make like, good music and shit? Most overlooked rock duo of the 90s/maybe of all time-type shit? I dunno, maybe just me
Such a great record, one of those I'll always find pleasure coming back to..
I just heard a little sample of this on NPR. Came to TH-cam to find it. My CD is in storage. And yes it was “the happy prole”
This is the first band that Pandora helped me discover. Thank you, Pandora.
What the hell this isn't on Deezer in Canada. Looking forward to the show!
One of The best Albums!
I started a Spotify stream with Pavement's cover of Camera and ended up here.
Thanks for posting this! ; Such great pictures of Quasi and others like Elliott S.
Great album too!
Great collection of pics
This is not indie rock, this is Canterbury Indie Rock!!
Actually, one of the best things I've heard since the Soft Machine
The intro for "Nothing from Nothing" lasts for twice as long if you set it to half speed.
This is something else!
please get this up on canadian spotify
Man Fr!
Yes it’s a need
australian too
Korean too
So good
mi album favorito de todo el UNIVERSO POR SIEMPRE TE AMO SAM Y JANET
I love you, sam! And dammit Janet, I love you!!!!❤
Built to spill.... Meets mild fantamos, meets low key medeski Martin wood?
(Thats 9 minutes of listening I really don't know)
Definitely seem like a great band.
I totally slept on these guys.
😞
11:49 - Is that Guy Picciotto and Sam Coomes showing love for Run The Jewels?
Amazing album! I first bought this album in 97' when I was 17 at music millennium. Wasn't this released originally on Kill Rock Stars though?
THE WORLD MISSES YOU CHRIS TAKINO!
Don't you mean Up Records?
I'm 17 and i found this band due to their new album from a poster in Sonic Boom last week lmao
John Atkins in the pics! Hey John, love you man! -Jake

Definitely like the vocals, very psychedelic rock. Maybe like some tama Impala stuff out there. Either way thanks for the upload!
''Maybe like some beatles stuff''

guys, I'm interested in any indie records like this one between 1997-2003, can you share it with me? thanks Gion
Yo try out r & b transmorgification also by quasi. Some personal favorites that remind me of this album are Smoke Machine by Chocolate U.S.A., Smog's Knock Knock, Cop and Speeder by Heatmiser, and No.2's No Memory (neil gust and sam coomes were in heatmiser together, and no.2 is Neil's band). Let me know what you think! Oh, and one of my favorite bands P.E.E.!!! The Roaring Mechanism by them is gold.
And built to spill there's nothing wrong with love!!!!
