Classic. There's not a single bad song in this record. It captured the angst of our generation. Thank you, Sam and Janet.

one thing about quasi is that they don’t play AROUND. they go into the studio & slay & make some of the best music around & have done so for the past 30 years. happy 25 featuring birds !!

I can really hear the sound of Quasi on this. Some of the chord progressions just scream Quasi haha. Also the drumming reminds me of Janet Weiss, anyone else? The rocksichord playing is really reminiscent of Sam Coomes' playing style. Really good emphasis on harmony and knowing how to make like, good music and shit? Most overlooked rock duo of the 90s/maybe of all time-type shit? I dunno, maybe just me

Yo try out r & b transmorgification also by quasi. Some personal favorites that remind me of this album are Smoke Machine by Chocolate U.S.A., Smog's Knock Knock, Cop and Speeder by Heatmiser, and No.2's No Memory (neil gust and sam coomes were in heatmiser together, and no.2 is Neil's band). Let me know what you think! Oh, and one of my favorite bands P.E.E.!!! The Roaring Mechanism by them is gold.
