Show: 4 seasons with a ton of screen time Comics: the story about confrontation of Butcher's and Hughie's worldviews on moral and philosophical question, mixed with the spy thriller, and the brutality of Frenchie comes from his mysterious past, and there is no need to make him a complex character
Sister Sage loosely exists in the comics but she's not the character shown in this video. In the show we see that her real name is Jessica Bradley. Jessica Bradley was an executive at Vought in the comics and is also the inspiration for Ashley, mainly the hair pulling though Ashley does it often while Jessica only did it once at the near end of the comic.
It's because if they had made the show earlier he probably would have been Hughie. But since he's too old now, they made him his dad as a little reference to the comic.
I think, you have one mistake there with soldierboy, because Series' Soldier boy is not played version of this third Soldier boy from comics, he is the series version of first soldier boy from comics
That soldier boy isn't him there is like 2 soldier boys in the comic one is like the new one but there was an older one the new one has blue but that isn't him he even was with homelander
Notice how many male characters were replaced with female ones, but never once the other way around Edit: To clarify, cuz some people like to see only the negative bits, I am not against swaping genders if it works. It clearly worked here, especially with Victoria, as she is one of my favorite characters. What I meant is, why has it never been the other way around? Tell me about at least one show/movie where a female character was replaced with a male one.
She sorta was. Sage's real name is Jessica Bradley. In the comics, Jessica Bradley was a Vought executive who was a loose inspiration for Ashley Barrett.
In my opinion every single character except sister Sage looks better in the series. And oh my god, people, what the unexpected twist was for me when I saw Hughie. Or should I better say Mr. Hugh (yeah, he is a second exception)

Deep looks better in the comics. Honestly, I kind of wish that he switches outfits, but without the helmet. I also wish that Homelander gets his old cape again too
@@bigbionk the creators have said that Mindstorm IS Mindroid, they just scrapped the part where he pretends to be a robot because it was unnecessary and complicated

Soldier boy in live action : homelander daddy
Interesting fact: in the scrapped the boys film The actor who played Hughie Sr. Was originally gonna be Hughie.
What ever I prefer him younger anyways hed look too old to be with starlight
Hughie in the comics was based off Simon Pegg in the first place
@@hiimsaulcaveman But like I said he looks like a weirdo in the comics in the show he looks like a nice trustworthy guy that starlight can be with

Really glad they changed Deeps design for him NOT wearing a diving helmet, thing would have been hella distracting
And ridiculous, No way I would want that guy saving me if he looks like Captain Cutler’s ghost
I wouldn't want the deep to save me period
@@briickhead1886ahhh... Ye? Whole point of his character was being a joke for everyone because of how stupid he looks

Nothing complex about him in the show lol. His presence as a big brother to Kimiko is 100x better in the comic too
Sister Sage doesn't exists on the comics. As well as Firecracker since she was newly and exclusively created for the TV series.

I like the live action way more.
Comics Hughie looks just like his dad from the live action series
I believe hughies dad is based off comic book hughie
Comics Hughie is actually based on Simon Pegg, and he's Hughie's dad in the series
It's because if they had made the show earlier he probably would have been Hughie. But since he's too old now, they made him his dad as a little reference to the comic.
Soldier Boy had the biggest glow up
I think in the comics there was also 2 soldier boys so that one is not him
TNT Twins and Sister Sage wasn't in the comic

They really have given most characters glow ups.
Black Noir & Soldier Boy for example.
Nah Black noir got a glow down, bro went from the strongest supe living to an Deadpool copy.

Even with all the gender swaps the character roster is overwhelmingly filled with guys.
It's just 3 characters according to the video. Lol

@@ВолодимирДолгов-у5яnot just that but it really doesn’t effect the plot line and frankly I liked the change of Stormfronts character

For the series, they made sure everyone is hot.
Especially the glow up on Soldier Boy and Neuman.
This Sister Sage is a X-men from Marvel (Sage is her codiname). She is dosen't in comics.
i find it really funny how in the comics black noir is just entirely black
Hughie from comics look more like Hughie's dad

The first comic Soldier Boy looks a lot more like the TV version.
