I agree with your ranking, but I switch the Sanrio and the Sweets because I'm not a Sanrio fan. This doesn't mean I don't like it, it's a great tama, but I prefer the Fantasy and the Sweets 😊 I really hope there will be new versions soon, it would be great if they could get inspired from vintage tamas: an afterlife version with two locations inspired by the angelgotch and the devilgotchi themes, and then a nature version, with two locations inspired by the forest and the sea, with characters taken from the morino and the umino. This is my personal wishlist for the Meets 😁
Interesting... Personal I like the pastel. I love the blue strokes, the character, games and the items it has. But the Sweets OMG, its so magnificent, love it. Mine was $35 with free shipping on ebay, so if the $60-$70 is prohibitive for you, maybe this one could be a good option. The white one (which I got) was cheaper than the purple. I'm not that interested in the app right now, and it'll be my first meets, so I'm sure I'll be fine with it. I'm definitely getting a Fantasy Meets when I get my tax check though! It's gorgeous!
I love all the Meets, I have 1 of all of them, except I am waiting on a Green Magical to arrive. The Pastel is a pain to connect to the app, but so is my Blue Fairy. I hope there are more versions of the Meets to come, but I have this odd uninformed feeling there won’t be another one, but I think there will be more of the On to come, maybe. What I would love is for Bandai to revamp an oldie, I want Meets Angelgotchi and Meets Devilgotchi versions x

Sanrio would honestly have to be my favourite! However unfortunately I only own the English Magic & Fairy ON’s. But I’ve seen the Sanrio and other Meets in action and they’re all AMAZING in their own lil quirky way. I’m really hoping they release the Sanrio this year in English so I can purchase it! It’ll be by far my favourite I own. Buttt I also do hope they release the M!x’s in English too! 😊🌸

About to buy my very first tamagotchi !!!! I'm considering between the Sweet and Sanrio . In my opinion , the Sanrio's case looks so adorable with all the lace , strawberries and cute characters . But I'm more into the Sweets's content ( I'm not really a Sanrio fan althought it's kinda cute from the look of it ) . Ugh I’m so frustrated ! I agree with this list. I think Sanrio is definitely number 1, I love mine because Sanrio is probably my favourite ever! I just wish they had included Aggretsuko but I guess she’s too “new.” I love my Fantasy too for the same reasons you gave but I have one gripe with it. I find the Fantasy version characters die too easily. I’ve accidentally neglected my Sanrio and they stay alive. But my Fantasy has died twice now, both times on days where I was working late & just couldn’t give them the attention they needed. And both times were with twins I adored. And yet as I said my Sanrio (which I was running at the same time as my Fantasy both times) kept on going! I think the Fantasy for some reason are more prone to dying. Which is sad because I love the character traits you can get on there and the egg shell design.
I'm a guy, currently in Japan and a friend of mine who collects Tamagotchi asked me if I could buy her some while I'm here. Long story short, talking about it made me so nostalgic that I ended up buying two for me: a Sanrio and a Sweets. I was surprised to see how it's heavily marketed towards girls here. Are boys and men not allowed to have a Tamagotchi? Also, I love the cute aspect but was a bit disappointed at how "girly" the front plates are. I ended up buying a white sweets because at least it's more discreet. I'm glad to see those two versions are loved by a lot of people and can't wait to try them (I didn't turned them on yet, I wanted to find a little tutorial in order not to miss anything, and also because my Japanese is veeeeery limited haha)
How are you liking your Tamagotchi devices so far?! And I agree-- I wish there was some more "neutral" designs, like a classy gray or navy blue. Have you seen the 20th Anniversary Tamas? I love the designs Bandai is making for those shells!
@@LovePandaBunny I only turned on the Sweets version (I'm keeping the Sanrio for later, when I'll have played with the sweets enough already). I love it. So much more complex than before, so less risk of getting bored of repetition. I unlocked only 2 places so I'll need to search how to unlock the rest. I married someone on the smartphone app on my third day haha (I was lucky, first time and it worked. I tried again today and got only rejections). I really like the fact you can have almost infinite variations with this marriage system. I can't wait to try the Sanrio.
I'd personally love to see a Tama Nano based on TMNT. I say Tama Nano cos of the way a lot of the collaborations (Gudetama, Eevee, etcetera), seem to be made into Nano-sized Tamas. It would be an easy thing to turn the egg into a turtle shell, and of course, no Turtle would be happy without pizza! If the Meets series does continue, I'd love to see the shells become less girly and more masculine, as the original P1 and P2 Tamas were designed. Tamas today seem to be heavily marketed towards the girls and when you think about it, they were more appealing to both boys and girls in the beginning cos of that wide range of shell designs and colours. Even though Digimon came out a little later to add a marketable line for the boys, I think a lot of the boys were still drawn toward Tamas cos of the variety of shells, not so much the characters or game play.
Funny thing, my purple pastel didn’t connect to the app when I got it years ago, have been running it for a week and tried it out and it connected to both the English on and the Japanese meets app. Has since become my new favourite now, along side my blue fantasy meets.
I love the sanrio meets but on all sites it seems to cost closer to 80-100 dollars as opposed to the 50 of the pastel so I had to get the pastel instead. Hope it doesn't have the glitch...

I am having what I call mid-life crisis. I don't know what tamagotchi to buy the sweets or the pastel... I want the sweets but then I gravitate towards the pastel. Is anyone having this problem?
The bad thing about Sanrio is that it is SO expensive, used ones are more expensive then 2 new meets!
