Fun fact the Hot Wheels Tesla Cyber truck is actually a Kyosho underneath. 10th scale garage on TH-cam did a video on the cyber truck and found out by looking up the parts.

The cyber truck version you got is the second edition . There still available for sale . It’s the cheaper version. There not rare at all .

a lot of toy grade rc's have motors as a servo lol thats what the sound is
What are you planning on using for tires? I think normal 1.9 would be too big so you would have to lift it super high and would lose a lot of the look... I have one of these trucks and am making plans to swap it with a hobby grade chassis and electronics to make a scaler crawler. (I think rivian should come out with something rc too so there can be a showdown. 😉)

We have it, its not metal and its more of an rc car (has proportional steering) but it is still toy grade. Runs on 3s, its fast, but the steering is horribly delayed, and the motor cogs like crazy, making it basically undrivable aside from park bashing. Its a shelf queen.

Unrelated question but, i was installing a servo and i accidently scratched the servo wire and it exposed a little bit of wire (if i dont mess with it the insulation covers it) should i not worry about it or is there somthing i should do? protek 155t servo
Throw some electrical tape around the exposed part nice and tight and call it good!
put some heat shrink around it... it should be fine

I love Tesla and SpaceX and all that but I don't like the whole Tesla that you can't work on your own stuff. So in the end you're leasing a car that it's going to cost you an exorbitantly larger amount to fix and repair if it ever gets in an accident.
