Lucy Thomas has so much talent that it can't be contained. Just when we think there can be no more surprises, Lucy shows us her incredible vocal finesse and a new singing style. I lost count how many different and distinct genres and styles Lucy can perform flawlessly. Never put Lucy in a box. Lucy is in top tier performing today. Her technical singing skills are beyond what most professionals with decades of experience have. Her enunciation, pronunciation, note placement, is crystal clear. We as listeners don't have to wonder what did Lucy just say. Her breath control is so transparent, we never see her take even a short breath. Some of her long holds, especially when she goes full forte, have listeners wanting to take a breath for her. Lucy can move between chest and head effortlessly and transparently. Amazing vocal range with complete pitch control regardless of low or high. Her vibrato never varies more than a 1/4 note above or below base pitch. She can even deliver perfect vibrato when she is mouthing sounds. Try singing ooohhh's and aaahhh's like her. It is refreshing to see and hear real talent. Especially in today's flood of talent-less performances on the internet. So many rely on gimmicks or hide in studio. Auto-tune and lackluster physical deliveries that make us scratch our heads. Lucy Thomas has real talent and it not afraid to use it. 1 mic, 1 camera, 1 take start to finish. Her physical delivery connects in a deep and emotional way with her listeners. We become part of the story Lucy is telling with her song. Like a great novel, Lucy's story has a beginning, middle and end. We don't want it to end, just a little more please. Lucy Thomas doesn't copy music... Lucy Thomas improves it.
Following Lucy since she was 13 years old, produced by Composer Chris Broom. I knew something was special about Lucy even then, and so did Chris...upcoming Musical of "Rosie" for 2024 Lucy Thomas Stars..
Very nice reaction on these brand new song's. So beautiful song and the voice too. Lucy Thomas, she always more than excellent singer. I was checking my you tube notifications, there it was.
Hi Psi & Bella...Yes, how appropriate Lucy was chosen to sing this spiritual song. Oh, so beautiful. This production was produced by Chris Broom who is working with Lucy on "Rosie". Although he did not write this song, he pulled together the elements to make it a reality and I'm sure Lucy was chosen because of her purity and amazing voice & talent. The choir was Pendleton School of Theatre Choir. The music - Anton Fauve. Lyrics - Roger Ellory. All those involved in this wonderful original piece are credited on Lucy's TH-cam channel.
George Isn't it amazing how Lucy post all the info needed on her heading of the posting of this song and people do not read it, yet they feel free to "guess" what is going on.... these are not the only people doing this and it makes you wonder why if they want the attention or if they want the real truth put out !!! Thanks for enlightening them also/
Hi There great reaction to the one and only Lucy Thomas This is a phenomenal performance by Lucy .I can not remember how many times I have watched this I just keep re- winding it. I think this is Lucy´s best song yet She is even more beautiful than ever ,her voice is just so perfect and soothing and continually improving I think this song is going to launch her to top. We can always rely on Chris Broom to think of Lucy.
@Colin Heavey Chris Broom did not write this song if that is what you were implying. The writer and the choir are listed on Lucy's TH-cam video of this song.

@@wilburfinnigan2142 yes-and I look forward to the next release from Rosie. There is a piece of a very operatic sounding tune that should be great. They have just a little bit posted on that Rosie site. I think that I get notifications from all over the place so sometimes may take hours to see it-but all Lucy does is worth viewing & listening.
You can see Lucy is feeling the song herself. The simplicity of it is so, so beautiful. This song is not a difficult or complex one. No, actually it is absolutely not difficult to sing. I am a singer in a choir myself, tried it and was able to sing the entire song along with Lucy from start to finish after 2 times listening to it, but sure enough: Lucy makes a much better job of it...what a voice. And those lyrics are so fitting for the times where we live in now.
Thank you Psi and Bella for another splendid reaction. Lucy's smoothe and calming voice helps me to imagine, that I am drifting along on the gentle waves of a warm ocean, where I am relaxed and at peace with my self.Kind reguards. From Michael Jonathan Lewis, Johannesburg South Africa
Hi John...Very few mainstream singers write their own material. It is mostly music already written or being specifically produced by a team of professionals for the artist who will perform it. That is the case here for Lucy. I'm sure Lucy was chosen because of her purity and amazing voice & talent. Plus she gets a lot of views of her videos. A great promotion for all those who worked on this song that she brings to life.
John true as it is mentioned in the heading who composed the song, it was the people putting the TVshow together, And these guys are making statements they have no info on !!!
Don't know if you are aware but Lucy's vocals have already been used in film with her version of Hallelujah being used in the Dennis Quaid film On a wing and a prayer.

You listed Kaden Boote as one of the bass singers. Do you know if this person is a descendant of Rosie Boote upon whom the play "Rosie" is based? That would be really awesome!
Hi ya Psi & Bella - I would think that the TV show will be a British production since Lucy, the writers of the song, and the rest of the production personnel are British. However, giving Lucy the opportunity to produce another original song points to her emerging as a first choice talent. I can't add anything to what has already been said by George, Colin, Wilbur, AnthonyL, and the rest of the Lucy followers - only that she is getting better as she gets older. A truly phenomenal international talent.
Lucy was chosen to interpret the theme of the TV series . Her, not any other singer ( may be because of her appearance in the sound track of the movie : on a wing and a prayer) I think the producers of this tv series got the best trailer for their series.
