I am a special educator and your videos are my STRESS BUSTERS !! You are the BEST!! Can you please share any academic or behavioral strategies for elementary ADHD students.
Got myself a laminator cuz this mom of special education student has a wee bit of an office supply and craft supply addiction lol. Now it’s just tailoring a motivating manipulative. She loves pipe cleaners too! You rock!
My favorite tasks to make are ones that I can change up the content for the students. I will make matching file folders or sorting activities that are laminated and have Velcro for sticking. But then I use wet (or dry) erase to write the actual task/content activity on the item. So it can be simple matching letters or word to definition, dots to numbers, addition problem and answer, etc. I love that I can teach the student how to do the task and then change up the content to focus on the skills we are learning. (Occasionally I do get a student who enjoys licking the task... and erases it in the process! But most of the time it works great)
I love watching your videos. They are full of great ideas. I am a k-2 MOID teacher . What are some of the ways you teach Social studies. That is my biggest struggle coming up with ideas. Thanks
Cheap alternative to photo boxes IF you are a chew gum personally lol - buy the hard case gum packets and when empty…. Bam, alternative repurposed option :)
I love these math center ideas! They are so simple and quick to prep!
This is super cost effective and intentional!!! ♥️
