Thanks for sharing! Thoughts for Young men is on my reading list this year too! Also, Christianity and Liberalism (Machen), and Chosen by God (Sproul). And more for sure 👍

Interesting list. Currently I am reading a book on Inductive Bible Study by David Bauer. Very much a text book 😳. Next up will be The Greco-Roman World of the New Testament World. And reading The Lord of the Rings for fun

Get Adam Harwood's Christian theology. Hi from Finland.

As far as Baptist ST’s go, I also have my eye on Wellum’s new release! Thanks for the recommendation!

@@wtsreads Interesting, is Wellum calvinist/reformed ? Harwood's ST was book of the year -22. It shows many perspectives in positive light, reader may decide. As provisionist i like it, because it is not saturated with calvinist or reformed flavour.

Hi, just found you channel and I must say great content. Working my way through your early posts and you've already heightened my TBR pile by several feet!
Apart from Christian non fiction do your read Christian fiction? If you do would you consider doing Christian fiction recommendation post?

      Hey brother!
I don’t think I’ll read crisis of confidence right away because in 2023 I read The Creedal Imperative by Trueman, and it’s my understanding that crisis of confidence is an updated version of that title. It wasn’t the easiest read if I’m being honest with you 🤣 the updated version will probably be better!
I like trueman though, read a lot of his catalog last year

@@wtsreads ahhh makes sense! Guess it’s kinda like his whole rise and triumph of the modern self vs strange new world. I haven’t read that first one so I’ll just tackle the new one and then see if it’s worth it to dip back into the big boy for more :)

Just picked up the Renn book. Interested to hear your thoughts after you read it!

I'm sure I will post a detailed review on IG and make a video here on it, but I think Renn's perspective is really helpful. His suggestions on adopting a "minority mindset" might prove to be unpopular but I think there's a lot there we can learn from without going all the way and taking on that language. I love what he has to say about the power of ownership at the local level, by God's grace my church is purchasing a facility after twelve years of renting and I already see the value of it.
