Black Wall Street should be a prime lesson for all ethnic groups to never give up your right to defend yourselves. A few good blacks fired back at the biplanes and klansmen. They were the good guys with the guns defending their people. BE ONE OF THEM!

Good job on this presentation. However it's sad to know that without a doubt, an economic hub such as Black Wall Street - Tulsa, Oklahoma, will never exist again, at least not on this continent. There are hindrances put in place to prevent an economic hub of this magnitude from ever resurfacing again. Before someone attempt to argue a point against this statement consider this first: Reparations were never made against the homeland terrorism that was allowed to happen on that infamous day in Tulsa, Ok back in 1921.

I only first heard about the Tulsa Massacre a few years ago. Heart-wrenching story. But I can't help but feel that, as happens so often in race stories, that we're learning all the wrong lessons and applying all the wrong remedies and that's why 50 years after the end of the civil rights era, we still have such a huge achievement gap between the races. I heard them in this video talking about putting up a museum, a woman talking about reparations, talking about preserving historic buildings, and resisting new development under the code word of 'gentrification'...which really means keeping a neighborhood sh--ty. None of these will help anything.
What I didn't hear was pro-market reforms like tax reform or zoning reform to help the businesses that are already there thrive and grow. I didn't hear any pro-growth policies. How about restoring Black Wall Street by creating a 'special economic zone' where you apply those policies and then come back in 20 years and see if it caused the area to bloom? I'm betting it does.

Yeah y'all keeping black owned business in black wall street.. but its in contrast to our ancestors they owned the business, the land everything... Today y'all have the business but are tenants and the white land developers who destroyed black wall street owns the land.. when i heard the sister say they look to work together vs competing i was dumbfounded.. . They single handed in one night took away all those people's lives everything the put they blood sweat tears into.. killing them in their homes their streets then got to escape back to their white communities, while Martial Law (yes it actually was inacted) was order and hundreds/thousands of black Tulsans were arrested... For what fighting back defending my mother house you pouring gasoline on 🤷... But lets work today, how ? Are y'all givin reparations, are y'all helping to rebuild it ? If so cool i got some brothers in construction can they get the contract.. other than that we don't want to work together we wanna be left to do us and build our community... The city of Tulsa doesn't care, the surrounding communities doesn't care, america doesn't care... It is left to us to come together and get it back

They can do whatever they want obviously but even if the massacre hadn’t occurred I don’t think Black Wall Street would have been very prominent today. The whole reason why these enclaves or black owned businesses existed was because it was the only option many had during the era of segregation but we are far and away past that now so I don’t really see there being reason for these purposeful racial enclaves
I mean maybe for cultural reasons I could possibly understand, like chinatowns for example, but because of the fact that any person with the capital and willpower can open a business where ever they want without being confined to an area I personally feel these things are a relic of the past

Reparations...no. We don't go back and pay for societies failings from 100 years ago that we had absolutely NOTHING to do with. Just like i am against reparations for slavery, i can recognize that things are wrong or should not happen without reaching into my pocket to pay for something i had and would never have to do with.

Your tax money goes towards wars, NASA space trips, Bank bailouts etc. Reparations for the destruction of Black Americans legacy should top that list. Jesus Christ saves from sin.
    Romans 3: 23
    For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
    Hebrews 9: 27
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
    Isaiah 64: 6
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
    Revelation 21: 8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
    Romans 5: 8
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
    John 3: 16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
    John 14: 6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
    Romans 10: 9-10.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
    Jesus said John 5: 24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
    1John 5: 10-13
He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
    Ephesians 2: 8-9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
    Romans 8: 1
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
    1 Corinthians 15: 3-4
    For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
    2 Corinthians 5: 21
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
