my interpretation on why hobi had a smaller part is because he said with this song he’s going back to his roots. he started off dancing, and we know that j cole played a big part in who he is as an artist. i could also be completely wrong but that’s what i got from it😭😭

I just said this because, in my opinion, J Hope should grab this opportunity to throw heavy bars, verse like how Cole did. Maybe J Hope can give props to Cole in another way, He can do like Joyner did to Will Smith. Or shout out his idols in his lyric. But to have the opportunity to collaborate with one of the best lyricists, he just should go all out with the lyrical things. You know even someone of Kanye caliber still rewrites his verse after hearing Eminem's verse. I hope for another collaboration from a BTS rap line with the lyrical rapper. And they use that opportunity to show their pen game.

Hoseok let J cole own this song and I respect that, he's his muse! This is such a great collab. I think Cole ate that, his verse is amazing. Hobi's flow is incredible as always. This feels more like a J cole song with a little bit of J-hope essence and It's great because both killed it! If I'm not wrong pdogg produced this song and if you listen to some J. Cole's music, you will notice this track is perfect for him.

Maybe not shadow ban but they definitely freeze the views bc when it comes to other artists and groups that almost never happen but when it’s Bangtan or any of their members that always happen. if BTS’s views freeze would mean that a lot of people is watching so the numbers are not mathing it all 💀 I know armys don’t stream that much on YT compared to other plataforms like Spotify but there’s a big difierence in streams and that seems sus. I had been the longest fan of j Cole even longer than BTS which is weird since I can’t remember such a time existed and one of the reasons why hobi is my bias is because of his love for j Cole, j coles songs have the same effect of comfort and introspectiveness like BTS and he has influenced the better part of my YA life so I am so so emotional and thankful about this song 😭 our hobi is leaving us😭 but he gave us this incredible gift and I think if army who are unaware of j Cole could give him a chance they’d find a great artist and art to comfort them, of course the connection wouldn’t be same but that’s the thing about music

Cole is one of his idols. BTS/HOPE, They’re huge fans of him and even did a cover of Born sinner called ‘Born singer’. J-Hope is currently getting ready to do his mandatory enlistment in the South Korean army, so this is kind of a little goodbye until he’ll be back! It’s really a full circle moment for him. Well, where is such a miracle in the army, well, why ?? What a spring song, this whistle directly evokes the vibes of a walk along a spring street, and the mood is so nostalgic, right when the sun is shining and the soul is light, I even want to cry. And the fact that the melody was written by Hoseok, but Cole's verse really hit me in the heart. I love you Hoseok unbearably, don't go..

This really hit me hard. I'm beyond happy and proud for him being able to do this with his inspiration, but I'm selfishly sad that we won't see his bright, beautiful personality for awhile. On a side note, I was teary when watching JK watch this. There were some long periods where he didn't blink and just took it all in. His Hobi hyung means so much to him. Love the song and it brings all the feels.

I think the little kid represents Army. J-Hope got down to his level to say "See you later". The kid looked back as if to say "I (we) won't forget you." The lyrics remind Army that everything he has done - work, love, walk, dance, hope - has been for us - Army and J-Hope together. I was focused on J-Hope's part, but J-Cole's lyrics sound like he's at a turning point in his career also. It will be interesting to hear other people's analyses. The lyrics of the chorus also remind me of the hopeful messages in "Equal Sign" and "Piece of Peace". I'm going to go and wipe my tears away now...🥲
