Yes he's one of the most badass mother fuckers ( LITERALLY now that's hes with her in paradise lol ) in the entire series. He's also frankly one of my favorite characters period as I feel no other villain in the series portrayed redemption as realistically and human as he did. I don't consider Raoh a villain but more an anti hero or even anti villain so he doesn't count and he " had zero regrets " whereas Kaioh had them and they both should have and we know Raoh did too he just wanted to go out with a bang lol.

He literally sort of scared me when he was introduced! Shows just how well done he really is as a character because by the end of it all I wept for him. I went from fear to hatred to love all in the matter of a few episodes. I truly love Kaioh and he's a character that will always have a special place in my heart.
@@brothersofwrath4785 Technically Hyoh died for Kaioh's sins but Toki as a whole died for Kaioh's sins in the sense that he died for all those like him.
kaioh is underrated as fuck, in no moment during the series i see any real proof that hes a raoh clone as many like to claim, hes completely different, and honestly hes my favorite villain of the series, the only thing i critize about him is that its a bit annoying that he gets a bit too edgy with hating love, but besides that hes fantastic
@@fulanoteateado6509 Thank you!!! He was never EVER a clone he was his own thing and he was better written than Raoh imo. With Raoh it's like they couldn't make up their minds whether they wanted a complete bastard or some anti hero and in the end he comes across as a bit hard to swallow after doing shit like killing Rei and trying to kill Mamiya , even likely killing a fucking child in Baron's flashback in the manga. But we're supposed to just totally accept him as some great hero just because he had a shred of humanity left and couldn't kill Yuria. It's kind of ridiculous. Like I get it Raoh is sort of an anti hero but his path was a failure and he knew deep in his heart Ken was the better man because Ken always fought with love in his heart and to protect love. Kaioh is a bit better imo because he's more clear on his characterization. Kaioh seemed so evil at first but we learn why he is suffering and it's a combination of his mothers death but more importantly his nearly life long mental and psychical abuse at Jukei's hands. We also see that Kaioh was always in Raoh's heart and his relationship to Raoh was like that of Raoh's relationship to Toki. Kaioh doesn't get as many conflicting scenes and actions as Raoh and isn't overly complex and this is actually a strength to his character imo. Kaioh does horrifically vile and evil stuff just like Raoh but there is a big difference in the end. At the very end even though Raoh was still a good man in a lot of ways he could not openly admit his faults and refused to admit his folly or that he was truly sorry in his heart. He claimed he had " not one regret in his life. " With the stuff he did , if he doesn't regret any of it it's not something to idolize it's quite disgusting. Meanwhile Kaioh wept from the bottom of his soul over the people he had hurt and the awful things he did. With every fiber of his being Kaioh wept in despair and regret for Hyoh and for Sayaka and he CHOSE to die to atone. Kaioh chose death as his atonement and this shows that his redemption was greater and more human than any character in the entire series. Kaioh's death is the most raw human and emotional scene imo because we see that this man who wanted to become a monster deep down is still that same sad and upset kid who's been abused and just yearns for his mother much like Souther. Kaioh takes it a step further though because he regrets everything and admits wholeheartedly that he was wrong , choosing death to make an attempt to atone. Kaioh dies weeping and holding Hyoh in his arms and their figures are forever encased in lava. That statue remains and it shows something so human it shows pure love it shows the deepest recesses of Kaioh's soul and his unyielding regret and sadness but above all it shows the love that no matter how hard he tried he could never ever rid himself of. It's true that Raoh , Souther and Kaioh all have this but the emotional intensity of Kaioh's death and the fact that he not only openly admits he was wrong but chose to die in atonement puts his death imo far above the others.
I'll have to admit, I was just a bit frightened to have hear this and the aura of Kaioh, the King of Demons, a demon that consumes demon... The older brother of Raoh...KAIOH!!!!!!!!!!!
