This band is really amazing! Last summer i attended their gig in Rome and it was incredible, beyond any words! The show was of the highest class and the performance.... unforgettable. Best band to me!

Specally because before years Starlight was played so much in Radio; Uprising was really good in the radios and than i saw the names of the last 3 Songs... Exogenesis 1-3 (Sounds to my licke they mix Klassic with Rock and i was right xD). Then i bought the Album and the rest is History. I love each Album on its own!
I thought I had heard every Muse song. I even have the drunk recording of Feeling Good on my phone. But this, I had never heard this. On a scale from Execution Commentary to Citizen Erased, this is an Unnatural Selection or Animals.
+dustichux867 but he wasn't drunk, the people running the show pissed him off by telling them 'not to swear' even though they never swore in their songs at all (this is sometime between absolution and black holes iirc) so he mouthed off for a solid ten seconds to irritate them, he'd only had one beer prior to the song it probably won't surprise you that that's why they've never appeared on radio 3 since lol

Muse have been talking about it for ages in all the music magazines and on Radio, they started recording the album in venice in September 2008. They said it would be released in Spring this year but they don't usually rush things so I'm betting Autumn this year.
I don't understand all the hate for resistance, I thoroughly enjoyed, particularly the second bit to The Exogenesis Symphony, Cross-Pollination I think, I love the more classicalesque stuff, I guess that's why I love butterflies and hurricanes.

I think muse are trying to show the world that they are evolving, musically, but that they can still do the old-style stuff. So they release this + crying shame ,etc. as b-sides. Anyway, i LOVE the verse in the song. Muse never cease to surprise

It comes from the days of 7 and 12 inch records. Vinyl had to have tracks of equal lengths on both sides to make it balance on the player and therefore play properly. Therefore, the records would have the main single (the a side) and a second track (the b side) nowadays a b side is usually an extra track on a CD, often never released on an album.
agreed, the world is constantly changing as are the people that live on it, sadly, if you dont change with it, you will get left behind, which is why i expect something very memorable from their unreleased album
People don't understand however; as good as you can move around the guitar, it's all about how you can manipulate the sounds of the 7 strings and 19(?) frets. I think Matt is the best at doing this.
