Ooni is very wrong to consistently claim that hunger is a global issue. In many other countries, citizens receive food stamps, housing, and food assistance, and have access to regular bus services, regardless of passenger numbers. Especially during a recession, no government buys aircraft; instead, they cut government expenses. Nigeria cannot be compared to other nations because our politicians earn the highest salaries globally, indicating that we have more money than other countries. Ooni should just mind his own business and enjoy his wealth; he shouldn't advise anyone because he doesn't understand the struggles people face. Ooni, please dey your dey and chop your chop, you shouldn't advise anybody, you are not feeling the pains.

My mom took my siblings and I out of Nigeria three and half decades ago. I am a yoruba, Ooni is right and equally wrong simultaneously. The economic crisis is global indeed. However, these nations' governments enacted measures to ameliorate the financial anxiety, food stamp, Medicaid, housing vouchers , and slew of other relief programs, I am a beneficiary of some of these programs. So Nigerians governments should stop using global crisis as an excuse. AND GET TO WORK.
