If my questionnaire contains a yes or no question and if the respondent answers yes he moves to a certain section of the questionnaire and if he answers no then he moves to a different section how to enter data of such type to be used in smartpls

You have no idea that you saved a student in her research. Basically left to fend for myself by my guide and you came in like an angel 😭❤️

@@hayetdriai4216 So basically you change your "Always" to 5 and your "Never" to 1. Exactly how it's mentioned in the video. Then you start to add the values up. So say, Body Image Concern Inventory has 19 questions, and their score can reach from 19 (where someone selects 'Never' for every question) to 98 (where they select 'Always' for every question).
What you do is, you make the sum of the scores for the questions. Then select the + sign and drag it down to get the sum of the scores for all the responses for whichever particular questionnaire you've used.
For something like Rosenberg's Self-esteem Scale, you'll have to follow the scoring mentioned.

@@hayetdriai4216 So you just sum them up. Because since you have numbers now it becomes easier to score the data. Basically you need scores for each response right? After turning those 'Always' to 5 and 'Never' to 1 you can now do the scoring. Depends on the tool you're using and whether you're on a five-point or a four-point Likert scale.

For the Male and Female issues, one could also click the "Options >>" button in the prompt and then select the Match to all case. This will ensure only Male is replaced into 1 and not Female as Fe1.

Sir we have a query, we asked 25 questions to 400, and there is 4 category in age groups 20-25, 25-30, 30-35, we want to calculate mean and standard deviations of opinion of each age group.
Professor, is it necessary to use SPSS when analyzing data? Can’t we just use the graphs from the google form and analyze them directly?

Develop a excel with all the questions and the respective response for each question. Just like the one Google form generates for their responses. You just have to do it manually

Hello !! How can code my data if I have multiple dependent variables and multiple independent variables !! For example have 10 DV that depends on 5 depending variables each !!!!is there an easy way to code the answers for Spss.
Select them all, find and replace the values with numbers for each similar variables

I got the answer in google sheet but it is very hard to convert to spss it is taking me forever to code it ... idk if u understood what I mean . Thank you anywya

If you have five point likert scale follow this method. There are other methods in the channel, check them out
@@MohamedBenhimaPhD the difference is your content for Strongly Disagree - Strongly Agree didn't yet numbered as 1-5 at the first place while mine already being numbered as 1-5.
You can number them the way you like. It is based on personal choice. Just report that

Just increase the decimals in the variable view
