Nice to see you got new soaps, but I am not the guy who buys Soaps because of art work. I like price point soaps, as I shower post shaving. So soap sent get wash off. But this was like you normal U-Tubes, good info, no lip flapping nonsense. Good great info.
Hi Matt, great review. I came by the store today and I was surprised at how much stock and by the selection you have there. What a great place. I could have spent hours there just looking at the stock and the front display case. Your girl working the counter get me set up with everything I was looking for. I will be back there again for sure. I am always on the lookout for vegan products too so that is important to me.
I personally like Southern Witchcrafts better. Both Scents and Lather are better imo on SW than ZM. I have noticed that there are a lot of great bases out there now to the point that Artisans have to really nail the scent profile and packaging to win me over. Who agrees?
@@PatShavesScentsandBlades I agree with that assessment. To stay in business you need a great base. My personal favourite is Lothur. The post shave is incredible.
Are these hard soaps or are they croaps? Also, after using the soap do you leave the cap off until it drys or do you put back on immediately? If you leave the cap off does the scent dissipate quickly? No one really tells you how to care for the soap post shave. Is the splash balm like? It looks thinner, almost like PAA jelly...

Hmm Matt I would like to try one of the ones with patchouli in the soap as I really like that particular scent. Will have to price it though as the shipping again is a problem for me being in Australia. By yhe by am still using your charcoal pre-shave soap it is great stuff!!

Word on the street is that Zingari Man has the best vegan base. Southern Witchcrafts is apparently up there as well.
