Life long Mountaineers fan, as a kid my grandpa had season tickets since the 60s and took me to games. He passed the year before that 2007 season and the run you guys were on made me feel like he was still there with me, and was a major comfort on those fall weekends man. After you missed that kick, all I kept saying was "this dude is the best kicker we've ever had, and if he missed it then anyone else would have too." I still would want you kicking that kick over anyone other WVU player ever. Run that play back a million more times, and you make everyone of them. You never should have received any harassment from ppl but WV folks arent exactly the most in tune with their emotions so its not surprising. Regardless, you never lost me as a fan, and idk anyone else that you lost as a fan over it either. Sorry for the book about one small statement in the video but that night was a night that I'll never forget and wanted to lyk ppl still think you're the bester kicker we've ever had.
