I am 61 years old, and for the past few years have been developing and trying out new patterns to have my own sewing side business. It's a dream I've been holding in my heart for a long time. I plan to sell online and at craft fairs. I'll be sewing anyway because I love it, so why not develop it into a supplemental income!🎉
My mother-in-law had a waiting list of wealthy clients for her sewing business in New Orleans. She did clothing and alterations. But she really made money on draperies for big fancy houses. She occasionally did upholstery as well. Best of luck with your business! 🙏
Retirement becomes truly fulfilling when you possess two essential elements: ample financial resources and a meaningful purpose in life. Make prudent investment choices to secure good returns and ensure a comfortable retirement.
One crucial aspect of earning profits from stocks is to avoid being frightened and selling them prematurely. It is vital to understand that stocks should not be treated as mere lottery tickets. Consider acquiring the assistance of a financial advisor to navigate your investments.

Great ideas. My wife died 9 years ago. I had an old five bedroom house which I did not know what to do with. My daughter suggested I get lodgers. This is one of the best things I have done from work to retirement it gives me monthly income and I enjoy different people staying in my home. I appreciate this is not for everybody but if it suits it is a great way to earn cash in retirement as well as having company in retirement
I just finished watching your video and enjoyed it greatly!! I’m 62 years young!! After being a single parent and battling mental illness (anxiety and depression) I ended up relocating from California to a much cheaper state (AZ) I didn’t know anyone in AZ. I only moved to be able to financially take care of myself. Before I moved, I got a job with the federal government since they have jobs all over the country. Also, the federal government didn’t discriminate against elderly people (I know it’s illegal to discriminate, but we know it exists) by the grace of God I found an amazing Bible based church. I was able to purchase my own home. I’ve had challenges since relocating but with God I’ve been able to have some retirement with equity in my home (doubled the price of my home) where I didn’t have ANY BEFORE THE MOVE. I ended up using several of your ideas and didn’t even realize it. I have subscribed to your website to keep updated on any additional ideas/information on income generation!! Thank you for taking the time to put this video together. It is so needed 🙏🏾
In many areas, if you build another livable structure on your property, then the municipality will consider you to have 2 lots instead of one and two homes instead of one. You will then be charged property taxes for both the new structure and the lot hat it sits on in addition to the property taxes already charged for you original home and lot. Your original lot size will be smaller, so perhaps less taxes for that lot, but the lot of the new structure will now have a higher property tax because a structure has been built on it. Just check with the property tax assessor. Also, the municipality may not permit a lot to be subdivided.
Thank you Sir, you saved me from myself. The Lord bless you for I’ve just beaten up myself hard for failing to save and not having anything on my retirement 🙏❤️

We’ve never owned a property we are 65 and 58 no children. We rent and are both self employed and have no investments or retirement yet no debt. However, It feels like we failed life. My husband is 65 and has done the same construction type job for 40 years and he can no longer physically do it and doesn’t know what to do. It is very overwhelming, scary and feel very alone.
If your husband is willing you can start a TH-cam channel to teach some of his skills. It takes time to grow a following but you can do it together and may find it is fun. People want to do DIY projects but need guidance from a pro like your hubby.

the best strategy you can have for retiring is to get completely out of all debts you have if its something that is able to pay off then pay it off there are things you are not able to pay off at all. things like your water and garbage bill your electric bill your car insurance unless you get ride of your car that is then you would not need car insurance then things like this that you can not completely pay off at all every thing else you can pay off when you pay off all these debts then you will be able to see that you really do not need that much money to live on then so pay off your credit cards all of them then your car then your house. if you are not sure how to pay off all these things then you need to go listen to dave ramsey then on how too. this is thte most single thing you can do for your retirement before you retire.
Yes yes yes! The best thing I did before retirement was to downsize to a small house I could pay cash for. Just move to SE Asia and live on $1,000 per month. And super nice people. No Mass shootings.
