The wear on the shafts and bushes does not have to happen. But you need to re-lube it every few years. Sometimes you have to replace bushes, seals and brushes. A good AGM battery is a must, they last a real long time, too.
Nice job with some great tips. BTW, I tried copying the video link to the Access Norton forum to promote it there, but it seems you have the upload set to not permit playback on other sites. We see this text on the forum: "Video unavailable Playback on other websites has been disabled by the video owner Watch on TH-cam" Maybe you can check the options on your TH-cam upload page to allow this?
Thanks for the great comments and I allowed the video to permit playback on other sites so if you want to promote it that would be great if there is any other one you think of promoting just let me know I appreciate it and thanks again,
@@jessesvintagegarage765 Thx...I checked my post on AccessNorton and your video now displays/plays there. I had seen this problem on another one you posted...the MK2 Norton 750 cylinder head fitting where I wanted to show forum members how you found those tiny leaks in the cylinder block stud holes.
Instead of using the forefront starter used on the sportsters in the old days they use the toothbrush starter on the North commandos which means they didn't work after they expect all the money to accommodate one typical British Penny pinching.
Excellent! Thank you 👍
Thanks for the great video. Over -32 C here today so I think I’ll drag mine out to look at. Did the screen shot of the parts. Thank you.
Awesome, glad to help,

@@TornadoCAN99 I allowed that whole 6 part series as well, thanks again we appreciate it,
I don't have the equipment to do this. Can you rebuild my stater?
Who did the machine work for you? Like the mod but need someone I can trust to do the work. Thanks
We know someone who has access to a lathe, that allows us to do all of our metal machining
@@jessesvintagegarage765 Do you have a phone# to call. Thanks
