Met an old guy at a casino. I was self-conscious about my weight, but he said he'd invite some girls over from across the bar. Then he told me, "Everyone's sh*t smells the same." To this day, that advice sticks with me. That was a fun night.
Best advice I ever got from some scruffy old guy in a bar... "Don't date hot girls. If they are single it's because somebody couldn't put up with her (stuff)."
Love this song and love this reaction! My mom used to love this song but my brother started singing the part about beer in the middle of church so she stopped to avoid awkwardness... Look it up by Ashton Shepherd I'm alright by Jo Dee Messina Watching you by Rodney Atkins When mama ain't happy by Tracy Byrd
This is such a laid-back ballad but it is what country should be about. The ending brought a big grin: "His kids were mad as Hell but me, I'm doing well"
Ayyy glad you did another Billy Currington song! Such a amazing song man and great reaction! Your advent calendar of videos is really cool too lol. WIsh I was around when it was going on. Talking about older people having wisdom and having respect and listening to stories is awesome. That's one of the things I think would make a huge difference in the world if people were most mindful of that and they were willing to listen to the stories of people who have experienced way more than we can imagine.
Thanks for the great reaction, Neal. I'm not much of a country music fan, but I love this song. Glad I decided to check it out, rather than pass it by. And glad I got to meet YOU. You seem like such a happy-go-lucky guy!
Thank you for reacting to this song.. This song was me and my nephews favorite song to listen to together.. I lost my nephew who was my best friend in a car accident.. Your reactions made me laugh while I was crying watching this video.. Thank you for making me laugh even though my eyes were filled with tears
That part about him leaving his fortune to him reminds me of something that happened to my dad. It was back in the days when Indian bingo and casinos were first starting up (we're native americans) and he got a job as a dealer. There was this old lady that was would come weekly and be rude to everyone so all the dealers were rude to her back. My dad was the only one who wasn't, he would be nice to her always and joke with her. She took a liking to my dad and always requested to have him as her dealer. Turned out she was a super model when she was younger and she was the richest person in the area. She had a mansion, yacht, and millions of dollars. She got so close to my dad that she said he was like a son to her. She left him the deed to her mansion and a few million dollars when she passed. I forgot why but he was never able to get the deed or money. I wouldn't have been born if he did though.
We have a old family friend rich I say yes money no idea but a he owns a ton of land. Said he is not doing a will. Gonna let his ungrateful kids fight over it and sit up in heaven and watch.
