    I eat enough and I don’t do too much physical activity and my period haven’t come in over 6 months and I am not sure what to do

    i recovery feasted for 3 days but my anxiety won’t let me not run… it isn’t even forcing. i have been running since i was 12. is that bad

    I really want to go all in but I have one huge problem: I can eat a lot but only if i count calories. If i don’t do that - i’m more stressed about food and i restrict. Do you have any advice?

      I solved that problem letting my mum decide my portion size , If I wanted more , my mum gave me more. You can’t really count calories without knowing the grams , etc🥰

    Extreme tirednessin the morning,and sleeping so much more,even though my body is a healthy weight now,I'm fine once I'm up,but it's just getting out of bed. Not sure if it's normal in recovery....

    i started actively being in recovery at October 7th. and by actively i mean that prior to that day, i was overexercising like 3 hours a day and was restricting, not the usual restriction like not eating, but i wasn't eating what i wanted to eat or when i was hungry, i was eating based on my meal plan from my dietitian. my dietitian is specialized in EDs, but doesn't believe in extreme hunger or in eating whatever the hell you want, she believes i should follow a meal plan and slowly introduce fear foods in that. i don't say that that isn't helpful, i mean by doing that i managed to stop binging and purging, but then again i started overexercising, so i don't know if that was better.
    anyway, at October 7th, i quit exercising cold turkey, like i'm not even walking, and started eating a ton more. i follow my meal plan, but i eat more than that. i've gained 7 kg since then, i gain like 3 kg a month. i don't know if that's quick or not. my problem is that the past couple weeks, i'm hungry all the time, like i eat and half an hour later, i'm hungry. and i don't know why now and not at the beginning. and i don't know if i should eat when i'm hungry. my dietitian tells me that i shouldn't eat all the time, i already eat 7 meals, i should eat not less than 2 hours between meals. what do you think about that? she believes that if i eat all the time, i'll develop BED. but i know that i'm hungry, it's not that it's in my brain, i feel hunger physically and i'm constantly conflicted about whether i should eat or not. i don't want to develop BED, but i don't know if my dietitian is right.
    also, i haven't had a period in 4.5 years. i quit exercising at October 7th as i mentioned, do you think it's too early for me to get it back? all the weight i've gained, the 7 kg, is fat, nothing else, and my current fat % is 21 % and BMI 20.

      Hiya, just wanted to firstly say how amazing you're doing! You should be so proud of yourself. Secondly, take a deep breath and trust the process. Your body is recovering from being starved for, what it sounds like, years, and if that means its going to take a while to trust you again and stop sending you hunger signals all the time then thats okay! You have extreme hunger. Your body is not used to you finally allowing it adequate amounts of food, so as a response it is looking to get as much as it possibly can just incase you decide to deny it once more. The only way this will slow down is if you listen and respond 100%. This may mean eating all day and going over your meal plan but thats fine! About the weight gain, you can never gain too much too fast and it doesn't matter what weight or BMI you are at, if you are not where your body needs to be, where you are mentally and physically at your strongest, then the only thing to do is eat. Hope this helps. Keep going and stay strong!

      @@ionaimpey7244 thanks so much for your reply. i've had an ED since i was 17 and i'm now 30. it started as bulimia, then anorexia, then bulimia again, anorexia again and now recovery. when i had bulimia, i was binging and purging and when i wasn't doing that, i was restricting. so i guess my body has been starved for 13 years. i eat more than my meal plan for sure, but not as often as i should based on my hunger. i'm constantly conflicted about who i should listen to. my dietitian who's supposed to know how people with anorexia can recover, or my body? but then again, if my dietitian doesn't believe in extreme hunger, and she thinks that if i eat everytime i'm hungry, i'll develop binge eating disorder, how can she possible help me recover if she goes against my body's signals? do you think i should eat every time i'm hungry, even if it means eating every 20 minutes?

      @@Evanescence4ever100 You should definitely eat. Your body knows what it needs, and it wants to get to that point whee it functions best. Your body is smart, and definitely knows your needs better than a random person or a piece of paper (BMI).

      @@thebabyhater thanks, i know you're right. we shouldn't base our weight on some chart, each body is different. some function better at a higher weight. but i don't know if it'd be healthy for me to eat that often, i mean what if it's not hunger and it's something else?

      @@Evanescence4ever100 There is no such thing as eating too much or too often in recovery. What could it be then? Recovery doesn't have to be complicated, if you're hungry mentally or physically, eat. Even if you're not, still eat. Eating is the answer to everything😂😂😭 I literally ate a full tub of ice cream today just because i felt like it🤷🏻‍♀️
