@AmandaRachLee Hey Amanda, I'm super curious as to where you got your acrylic desk organizer for your markers & whatnots. I've been looking everywhere for a spacious desk organizer, PLEEAAASSE enlighten me with where I can get one of these!
I would love to see a like, "Becky's Design Graveyard" type of episode, where maybe they take all of her designs and someone wins one of them in a contest or something? I know her designs are based on the specific spaces they're working in, but it could be a sweet 'becky's revenge' motif, and those designs wouldn't go to waste? Or i'm crazy and the coffee just kicked in
I never comment and haven’t seen the end but I wanted to chime in and say Becky’s idea was better laid out IMO. I’m sure it looks great at the end anyway.
@Anastasia Pinsky right, right? Unless they mount the tv on the flexible mount where you can pull out the tv to face the couch... then it will work.. 😂
As an artist myself, I saw how she checked over the desk area first and second glanced for the copic/markers, and definitely saw worry in her eyes for a second 😂
missschimming I absolutely drool over amber glass. I think I will start collecting it when I go thrifting. Don’t remember seeing much of it out there. Guess other pickers get there before I do.
in this case, amanda chose kelsey's design bc of the pattern of the wallpaper although initially she was the one who assigned the wallpapers to kelsey and becky so it was kinda biased
Personally, I liked Becky’s design.. I wish there was a way you could do both! Great outcome though Minus that plant next to the TV Probably my favorite room yet
I cringed the whole time they were putting them in the hutch! I'm like "think like an artist!! That's all the way across the room that's gonna be so inconvenient."
I have to disagree with the moving the art supplies when you need them. I love having my art supplies on hand, especially to have the colors/media you didn't think of near your artwork. I was really hoping for a more practical storage for art supplies, but the space looks gorgeous! I almost want to hide all my art supplies 😅
Too many negative comments, I am absolutely In Love with the space, you guys turned a bland room into something extraordinary! I actually would LOVE to live there, it’s perfect! And that tree plant in the corner omg!!! I wish u guys could help me makeover my home 😩 you guys are heaven sent ❤️
Good design is functional and beautiful, right?! For example, how they put all her pens and markers in the hutch... like... it looks nice but she journals everyday so it will all be back on the desk in no time haha
Agreed! I would switch it to the window side so it gets more lights and bring it forward so it looks nicer. I also wish the gallery wall was hung a little higher. It's too close to the top of the couch and bring the eye down rather than up. It leaves a dark grey space at the ceiling that doesn't look as nice....
I came here from Amanda's channel. You guys rock!! I want to be an interior designer when I grow up, and you guys just helped amd inspired big time!! Thank you!
She chose her design based on the paper she gave the girls? I don't think that was fair to Becky. Her design this time was much better. But it still came out great.
Please upcycle that freaking lamp! My mom refuses to get rid of it and it drives me nuts every time I come home. EDIT: Well I'm glad so many people share the same dislike for that lamp as I do but can we get some more dorm related content first please?
i love this transformation but why do y'all keep insisting on shoving plants into tight spaces where they don't fit? that plant should be pulled out a little so it can actually get light, grow, and be shown off!
I agree but fiddle leaf figs need indirect sunlight. It might get too much by the window. However, Amanda can move it to the other side if it starts showing signs of needing more sun.
Hi I love it !!! the dark grey accent wall, and placing of the wall art and using only minimal amount of stuff to decorate as well made a big difference, a job well done ladies
One of my fave series. Woohoo. I HOPE YOU RELEASE MORE FOR THIS YEAR. huhu P.s. they heard us. They did not show a peak of the room design in the beginning.
I landed here after watching Amanda's apartment tour and I totally took inspiration from your work to redo my living room. I'm SO EXCITED with this project! Thank you for being an incredible source of inspiration (and fun!). ♥
Really enjoy watching your videos. Thanks for the inspo! (ps - idea for centreing lamp over a table etc - is to mark the centre of the table with tape etc, then hang a plumb bob (like a heavy pendulum on a long string) from the ceiling. It will always hang straight, so you just move the ceiling spot until it's centred above the table).
Both designs were really good and the end result is also really pretty, but there are two things that bother me...since the tv is now part of the office as well, maybe putting it on a swivel would help so that if you want to watch tv from the living room you would actually be able to. Also i feel like the scones should have been hung higher on the wall so that they would draw the eye up. The gallery wall in itself is not very high so if the scones would’ve been hung higher i feel like it would give the illusion of a higher ceiling/wall and not dwarf the room as much.. otherwise the design is great! Love your work 😁
Tv is on a full motion swing mount she says that can be pulled out and swung in any direction, so can be watched while sitting on couch or anywhere in room. Check out her apartment tour video & you will see how everything is and little changes.
The light sconces on the gallery wall also don't look level with one another. The one on the right looks like it was screwed in higher up than the one on the left which bugs me.
Awesome job!!! I' saw you guys did Niki & Gabi's rooms and I have been watching you ever since. I play your videos on the TV while I'm doing my makeup or cleaning the house. I love the overall vibes of The Sorry Girls videos and who doesn't LOVE cheap and easy ways to redecorate a space?? 😍❤❤❤
LOOKS STUNNING take the mirror down, it covers that beautiful wallpaper up way too much also, the dark wallpaper frame should be in the middle of all the other light prints
LOL! Over 2 years since this episode was posted and I've only had that lamp for a year! For me, it's really versatile as the tall lamp lights the room and the side lamp I use when I'm crocheting/reading/cross-stitching/diamond painting.
Inês Silva Look closely at the wall mount...it’s one of those where you can tilt the tv to the side. Mine can only do 45*, but I think there are also ones who can do 90*.
Ha! I have a triple accent wall in one of my rooms... and intent to make my whole house in accent walls. I love it!! That is so cool that she drew the print and then turned it into wall paper! Awesome job ladies.
i looove how this turnt out but i don't understand why her supplies are hidden away? wouldn't she need it to be easily accessible for her than having to open and close the drawer when she needs something more? or if it were to be stored away shouldn't it be in the drawers of her office desk? no hate tho just don't find it very realistic to store it that way
Okay I fully don’t understand why they hid away her bujo supplies😭 i need them out in front of me when I’m creating, not having to scoot back and forth on a chair to get them out of a cupboard?? That’s like a painter having their easel the other side of the room to their palette🤦🏼♀️
I feel like the bookcases would've looked so good if you centered the table on the accent wall and put them on either side then put the desk on the opposite wall so she can film with natural lighting
kind of a bummer to see her art supplies hidden away in a hutch on the other side of the room from her desk where they're kinda inaccessible. it looks nice but isn't super functional for a creative (at least imho) otherwise it's pretty cute
They are all in moveable storage pots though.. It won't be hard to take them out when they are needed and put them back away when you've finished or have people over etc.
magpie - If I were better at putting things away after I'm done with them the hutch storage idea might last until the second time I spilled one of those open-front cubes all over the floor. Then I'd be like "okay, everybody out of the hutch".
This came out amazing! Everyone seems upset about her supplies being hidden away but I think its still very functional. Its about 3 steps away and she can keep them out while she creates her art and then put them away to keep her space concise when she is done. As a Photographer and hobby painter It would drive me insane to always keep my supplies out (unless I had a room specifically for art). Anyway I loved this video as always, and dream of having you guys help me with my future dorm room!
These videos are kind of getting old because Becky’s are never picked... I keep seeing Kelsey’s style when I want to see Becky’s style (which is more like my own).
I may be biased but this is my fave episode of Style Selected 😜❤️
You guys KILLED it!! I'm so obsessed!
AmandaRachLee We’re in LOVE! We have the same style so this one was a piece of cake ;) can’t wait to see these accent walls in all of your videos!
Where is your white top from?! So cute!
@AmandaRachLee Hey Amanda, I'm super curious as to where you got your acrylic desk organizer for your markers & whatnots. I've been looking everywhere for a spacious desk organizer, PLEEAAASSE enlighten me with where I can get one of these!
Just curious: did you move the fig plant from beeing smushed by the sofa? Maybe switched sides with the side table?
I want that room so bad right now. 😍😍😍😍
Not a bad idea.
GENIUS
Ive watched the first 5 videos of this series and Becky’s designs were picked 3 out of the 5
Quack !
LOVE IT
Aw, I really liked Becky's this time. The constellation wallpaper would've been so cool behind the couch. But it looks great anyway! :)
Also, please upcycle that lamp! Even if you don't have it, it's ALWAYS at Walmart or the thrift store for cheap so anyone can find it.
I never comment and haven’t seen the end but I wanted to chime in and say Becky’s idea was better laid out IMO. I’m sure it looks great at the end anyway.
Becky’s was the best
Becca R Is constellation/ space themes on the trend right now? Or have I missed the boat? Am I late to the party?? 😬 I am so diggin it.
Rebecca Reagan I agree :)
I have that "lamp that everyone has" 😄 Love the dark wall and patterned wallpaper!
omg sea lemon 😮
I prefer Becky's design 'coz it have a clear partition of the living room, office and dining area. Anyway.. both design are great.. 😊
@Anastasia Pinsky right, right? Unless they mount the tv on the flexible mount where you can pull out the tv to face the couch... then it will work.. 😂
Also, it's too high to use it when you're sitting down at the table XD
They did lmao
As an artist myself, I saw how she checked over the desk area first and second glanced for the copic/markers, and definitely saw worry in her eyes for a second 😂
I loved Beckys design!!!
That watercolor wall art at 7:50 was absolutely gorgeous, and the simplicity was amazing.
Great video! I loved Beck's design with the amber glass. I'd love to see you all use amber glass in a future video.
I agree. Now I'm on the hunt for amber glass for my own place. I love the warmth in color it provides.
missschimming I absolutely drool over amber glass. I think I will start collecting it when I go thrifting. Don’t remember seeing much of it out there. Guess other pickers get there before I do.
It turned out okay but I actually love Becky’s design waaaaaay more. Wish I could’ve seen that.
i wish to see hers come to life!
I reaaaallllyyyy loved Becky's design and I am sad we didn't get to see it come to fruition.
I love her bedroom space. I love how it’s like enclosed from the rest of the space.
becky saying ''bye amanda!'' at 6:03 after her design didn't get chosen is my constant mood
People really need to understand that is not the design YOU want. Is the design THE OWNER want, or like, or feel comfortable with.
Ikr!
I 100% agree
True
I think they understand. We just want to see a Becky idea come to life every once in awhile
in this case, amanda chose kelsey's design bc of the pattern of the wallpaper although initially she was the one who assigned the wallpapers to kelsey and becky so it was kinda biased
Personally, I liked Becky’s design.. I wish there was a way you could do both!
Great outcome though
Minus that plant next to the TV
Probably my favorite room yet
I love how they spend so much time centering the light underneath the table, when the table is sooo easy to move. so me lol!!!
8:41 yes, so true I used to have this lamp would be so cool to see it upcycled
We have it too
I have two of them...upcycled please
I have the “lamp that everyone has” at my cottage in the living room.
I love the new room design! So pretty and aesthetic! 😊
I wish I knew what Becky’s design would have looked like.
me too 😕
@@fatimaabdulla16 she showed it at the start. You can't have both lol. Guess some can't visually see what would look like.
Me too
totally! this time i was kinda sad, that beckys‘ didnt win
+theSorryGirls Can come to my room and make Becky's design xD
Is it just me or are the sconces unevenly placed at 18:56 ish... unless it’s an optional illusion?!
That lamp is everywhere, and is so hideous, it would be awesome to see you guys upcycle it.
You guys did an amazing job with that room, such goals.
Beckys design was such a killer one. So sad it didnt get picked
Im sorry but i liked becky's wayyyyyy more!! I would love to see you incorporate the amber glass
Omg watching you hang the paper prior to hang the photos on the wall was like a lightbulb going off in my head. Tysm
They never PICK BECKY 😭 I’m always rooting for her designs. But then again they’re both SO GOOD
20:36 "Where have my art supplies gone????"
I cringed the whole time they were putting them in the hutch! I'm like "think like an artist!! That's all the way across the room that's gonna be so inconvenient."
Lmao I could see it in Amanda's face 😂
I always love both of the designs you create! I wish you could combine elements of both!
ohmnamast3 I know it hurts to see a great design unused! 😫
Thank you guys for doing this to Amanda's apartment. Now she can do an apartment tour!!!!!!
I understand that y’all wanted to put her markers and pens away but it’s not very practical for her day to day life since she needs them on her desk 🤔
Amber Thomas agree
Amber Thomas also the tv. How is she suppose to look at it.
But she can move them out when she needs them. And when she isn't using them, she can hide them again.
It's on a swivel wall mount. you pull it out and aim it towards the couch.
I really liked this except for the mushed plant beside the couch. I would have left it where it was before all the wait for its.. :)
This is the second time they hide a beautiful plant in between a wall and piece of furniture.
Plus its not going to get any light there. I hate when people design for form over function
Alice Sonlaw as an aspiring interior designer this is my biggest annoyance.
Good design is functional and beautiful, right?! For example, how they put all her pens and markers in the hutch... like... it looks nice but she journals everyday so it will all be back on the desk in no time haha

I love Kelsey's peplum style top! I feel that her style is becoming so 70's and I am all for it! ❤❤❤❤❤
Poor Becky❤️ Kelsey's is always the chosen design, but Becky's are so good too🙈
check the other videos!! Becky is always the chosen desing!!
@@rosiobherrera well in all the videos I've seen from the series it was always Kelsey (I of course haven't seen the full series)
My two favorite Canadian channels come together!!! So good!!
Sometimes both designs look so good! Do you guys ever decide to combine both designs in a style select? That’d be nice to see
I came here from Amanda's channel. You guys rock!! I want to be an interior designer when I grow up, and you guys just helped amd inspired big time!! Thank you!
She chose her design based on the paper she gave the girls? I don't think that was fair to Becky. Her design this time was much better. But it still came out great.
Becky could have incorporated the paper in her design as well! What are you talking about?
The truth IS BETTER Amanda went with the design based on the leaf wallpaper, which Becky didn’t have so there’s no way she could’ve won
I know that was unfair she should have said that she wanted one design with the other walpaper of something
So cute!!! I feel like you guys are getting more comfortable with the series it’s so good now!
My roommate and I think the wall sconces are uneven and it drives us nuts haha
Laura Emily I was looking for this comment. I agree.
Thank you, I thought I was imagining things.
My OCD kicked in! Lol
I think it's deliberate because it's aligned with the frames. I think it works
Definitely uneven lol
I definitely have at least one of those lamps! They're the cheapest and best option at big box stores that I've seen. PLEASE restyle/upcycle!
Please upcycle that freaking lamp!
My mom refuses to get rid of it and it drives me nuts every time I come home.
EDIT: Well I'm glad so many people share the same dislike for that lamp as I do but can we get some more dorm related content first please?
Yes, yes... PLEASE upcycle the lamp!
EjEmSi my dad had that lamp like for 6 years and my little cousin broke it and his like WHYYYY!!!!!😂
upcycle it please! :D
After living in apartments with no ceiling lights. I now own 5 of those things. I dislike them and I NEED this upcycle!!
I’m obsessed with how this space came out!!!!

Franz Mendoza yeah but it’s in the thumbnail and ig post lol
I would have NEEEVER been able to pick between these two design ideas!
No offense to Kelsey, but Becky, I always like yours more and am so bummed when yours don’t get picked! 😘
Stephanie Smith it’s always the same thing for me not kidding
I NEED that constellation wallpaper, but also I absolutely love the room like I wouldn’t want it any other way
Oh gosh, the sconces are uneven.
thats what i was gonna say bc it threw me off completely
I landed here after watching Amanda's apartment tour and I totally took inspiration from your work to redo my living room. I'm SO EXCITED with this project! Thank you for being an incredible source of inspiration (and fun!). ♥
y’all i have been WAITING for this video
I just watched a recent video of Amanda's and am suuuper bummed to see she completely re-arranged the space
Wooow it looks so awesome! Such a great idea to incorporate DIY wallpaper! I love the makeover!
Really enjoy watching your videos. Thanks for the inspo! The constellation one would’ve been waaaayyy better
you girls did amazing. of course you know that. can't wait to see another one
It’s giving me so much anxiety that they didn’t screw that giant mirror to the wall 😰😰😰
I had a giant heavy mirror before, and all it did was lean against the wall. I hated not having it mounted but after many years, never had an issue.
Right? I was thinking the same thing. With a tiny girl like Amanda she would not he able to lift that by herself if it fell.
THAT and the wall lamps that are not even are killing me
So gorgeous!
Both designs were really good and the end result is also really pretty, but there are two things that bother me...since the tv is now part of the office as well, maybe putting it on a swivel would help so that if you want to watch tv from the living room you would actually be able to. Why did they put the mirror on the table where it's not stable every thing is great but thAt is so.dangerous like isn't that like comment since
Tv is on a full motion swing mount she says that can be pulled out and swung in any direction, so can be watched while sitting on couch or anywhere in room.

The light sconces on the gallery wall also don't look level with one another. The one on the right looks like it was screwed in higher up than the one on the left which bugs me.
Amazing. So warm and cozy.
Have you ever styled a tiny home?
Would love to see that in a future episdoe.
Oh no :( Why would you squish that beautiful plant in the corner behind the couch!
The plant would have better placed by the window it looks squeezed in between the wall and the couch ☹️
Jen Sand Yeahhh, that fiddle leaf fig probably won’t get enough light smushed in that corner.
Fiddle leaf figs need indirect sunlight. It might get too much right by the window.
Cause it's fake, probably
Kelsey- "Hey Google, Is Amanda Gonna like her room?"
Google- "My apologies, I don't understand"
Kelsey-" say yes"
😂😂😂😂
ahhh I wanted to see Becky's design come true 😢 but both r totally cool!

SUCH fun watching!!😍I am new to your channel from Amanda's channel... Instantly in love with you guys! 😍
The layout was almost the same as the original except for paint and furniture updates. I think they should've Incorporated both designs.
LOOKS STUNNING
take the mirror down, it covers that beautiful wallpaper up way too much
also, the dark wallpaper frame should be in the middle of all the other light prints
Rewatching after 2 years and Amanda’s plants are thriving
HOW DO I LOVE YALLS VIDEOS MORE AND MORE EVERY WEEK?!? ❤️
LOL! Over 2 years since this episode was posted and I've only had that lamp for a year! For me, it's really versatile as the tall lamp lights the room and the side lamp I use when I'm crocheting/reading/cross-stitching/diamond painting.
Quick question, how is one supposed to watch tv? Drag the chair back towards the window to be able to see?
Inês Silva it is on a swivel mount. So you can put it away from the wall and facing the couch. Or you can swivel it to watch tv from the dining room.
@@Cynthiaa315 Really? I've never seen one of those before. Thx 👌
Inês Silva
Look closely at the wall mount...it’s one of those where you can tilt the tv to the side. Mine can only do 45*, but I think there are also ones who can do 90*.
depends on the size of the tv as well :)
saw the thumbnail and so happy to see Amanda!!

Maddie Milligan why can't she take out the box she needs when she's working and then put it away when she has company over? This way they have a home
As soon as they leave those supplies will return to the desk permanently!
Love it! Can I just say that those uneven sconces are making my OCD flare though.
Wow I couldn't visualize it before it was done, but it turned out incredible!
This is the best Style Selected episode. Simple, elegant and mature.
I feel like the bookcases would've looked so good if you centered the table on the accent wall and put them on either side then put the desk on the opposite wall so she can film with natural lighting
Final result was amazing. Especially the mid century piece!
kind of a bummer to see her art supplies hidden away in a hutch on the other side of the room from her desk where they're kinda inaccessible. it looks nice but isn't super functional for a creative (at least imho)
otherwise it's pretty cute
They are all in moveable storage pots though.. It won't be hard to take them out when they are needed and put them back away when you've finished or have people over etc.
magpie - If I were better at putting things away after I'm done with them the hutch storage idea might last until the second time I spilled one of those open-front cubes all over the floor. Then I'd be like "okay, everybody out of the hutch".
Exactly. It's gonna make it hard to be creative on a whim because she's going to have to constantly go back and fourth across the room!!
I absolutely love the dark accent wall, this is such good inspiration!
....is Becky’s sconce higher than Kelsey’s ..🧐🧐🧐
This came out amazing! Everyone seems upset about her supplies being hidden away but I think its still very functional. Awkward to watch! How about making someone pick a design without knowing who's design it belongs to. Just an idea :)
yesss
yeah, reminds me of the ”you draw, i cook” from the tasty channel
Even tho its a good idea the person the space belongs to should have that control .
Imagine yourself in that situation..
Right? I'd also want to pick my favorite elements from each design. The backdrop design Becky offered was a great idea.
I agree....😒
I really like that dark accent wall trend too!
I think the ideas are really good but the paint is uneven and the even the two litte lamps on the gray wall are in a different height
Omg it looks sooo good!!! I’m so happy for Amanda !! You guys did such a fantastic job!!
i have that lamp and yes need that upcycling video

Same! Every person always ultimately wants elements of both. I wish they’d be more flexible and combine some of the concepts.
This is one of the best makeovers I have seen them do
Give your editor a raise 😻😻 omg
EDIT: jk idk how things work but he did a GREAT JOB! Whatatttt
Yea this is my third episode. You guys ARE awesome.
This is awesome! Who else LOVES style selected?! You guys are AMAZING! Like if you agree!!! And yes upcycle it!!!
OMG the final result is PERFECT!!! I love it!
Why is the tv facing the window though?
And if it's supposed to be used as her monitor why is it hung so high?
Ava Shriv the TV is on a swivel bracket as Amanda said on her room tour video 👉🏽 th-cam.com/video/0y4rXoWrJlw/w-d-xo.html
Love the dark wall and the light fixtures
