I am so thankful that I was able to go! I really did have the time of my life! I may of made the long trek all by myself from Virginia, but I felt like I was at home. I met so many nice and welcoming people! I'm looking forward to the next chance I get to come out. So happy the round up went well. Watching the videos of your guests reactions to the livestock and scenery reminds me of the reaction our city friends have when they come to our farm. They are in awe of the view, the quiet, the livestock and yes, even some of the odors. Odor? OK maybe years and years ago there might have been some. But to me what is an odor to them, is living the good life. It means hard work that sometimes yields very little money. Regardless, it does yield happiness and satisfaction to our family knowing that we are part of the vast machine that cares not just for a nation, but human civilization. We all take chances in our lives, we all make an adjustment here and there, try something new and pray it pays off. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. But we try, we have to. I look forward to your videos and another day in your ordinary. Take care.

I wish I could have been there. Hopefully next year I'll be able to go, if I can talk my Son into taking me lol. I was raised around cattle & horse's in Tuolumne County CA & I've really missed it all these year's later. It's funny but the best smell in the world to me is the mixture of, a barn, leather, saddle soap, horse's, cattle, hay, alfalfa & the horse & cow dung that goes with it lol. The closest I've gotten to it in year's has been somebody fertilizing their garden somewhere close to where I live & I breath it in & remember the good old day's. I was the tag along kid of all the old cowboys & I'd just sit there & listen to their story's & ask a ton of questions. I really miss that. Thank you for sharing your lives with us.

A wonderful old fashioned weekend of fun. We use to go to Northern Idaho to a shindig sponsored by The Cattleman's Association. I was allowed to bring my guy friend. It was a wonderful weekend, which I cherish to this day.
