2021 Ford Base Bronco DIY Vinyl Wrap MIC Top For Under $200

- Another big step in my Base Bronco build, I wrapped my MIC top in Gloss White! In this video I will show you the steps I took to complete this project, with a big reveal of the new top at the end of the video.
As noted in the video, and I will note it again here: this is not a professional quality wrap! There are lots of videos on TH-cam with good advice on how to wrap. Watch them before you attempt this project, that is what I did.

Not gonna lie, I wasn't digging the build. Then the white top comes along, and pulls it all together. It looks really good. I'd be thrilled to own that. Congrats!

@@BudgetBronco You must have the patience of a saint, l saw the time and effort you put in to prep and mask the rims prior to paint, now seeing the end result of the hole vehicle it looks really good, old Series hardtop Land Rovers also had limestone roofs and steel rims (limestone is off white, almost cream in color). For long term durability l would spray your new roof when you get it if you plan on keeping your Bronco for a few years.

Loos quite sharp. Those classic "Bronco" fender logos look sharp as well. Ford should have done that from the factory.

This is an incredible truck! One of a kind! And I guarantee people will copy what you’ve done. Or they will try to buy your truck, im sure someone already has! I’d love to see it at a car meet and see reactions. Or make a full video of you just driving it and walking around it

I am a little surprised I have NOT yet had anybody make me an offer, but I am sure it will happen some day. I did go to car meet a couple months ago, it was pretty funny, I was parked next to a guy with a $100k+ supercar, and everybody wanted to see my Bronco, he looked a little annoyed 😂

When you first started the video and stated, "White", I was link, "What are you thinking?" But, then I realized your Bronco was dark blue and the final shots of the vehicle change my mind. I think it looks awesome. At a distance, it looks awesome; however, in some of your close up shots where you cut along the opposite glass edge and folded the wrap around the edge, you can see the uneven cuts in some places. Maybe next time, take some extra time to cut those edges, but you were probably thinking about the making of the video instead of the overall edge cut. Great job, looks awesome! Now I have another paint design to ponder...

Jay Leno's restomod was probably $200k so you have done a fabulous job. I like the white wheels so much. I think they are prettier than fancy aluminum wheels, and probably a lot sturdier too. Aluminum wheels are easy to crack in a pothole. Steel is a superior material, it just isn't as pretty. I think a lot of people are going to wrap their broncos.
Thanks for the comment! While mine definitely cost a LOT less to build, I sure would love to have that supercharged V8 engine! Also really good point on the wheels, steel is much tougher, it might bend but it wont crack like aluminum.
Been watching since the first video. I was really looking forward to this one. The top really makes the whole rig come together. It’s awesome you are doing everything yourself! After watching your content, I want to get a base more than any other model. Not sure if that will ever happen, but it sure looks satisfying!
Right on! I think it is hard to beat Base, you get a ton for your money and you can use what you saved on mods to make it really special.
I bet you Ford is going to replicate this look with a "Heritage" model in the next couple of years. Looks amazing
Definitely! Lots of speculation they will offer this with a white grille, white top, white wheels. For now they just need to focus on building as many of the models they already have as they possibly can!

There is a lot of speculation that they will eventually come out with a 'Heritage Edition' and that will probably have some of these elements including white top, white grille, maybe even white wheels.

Looks good ! I had zero interest in a Bronco before I saw your video on my Utube feed . The 2 door with the steel rims and the manual option have caught my eye . The new blazer is almost automotive blasphemy 😳. It has no resemblance to a k blazer IMHO. Only the name . I like the Bronco much better than the Blazer or even the wrangler fir that matter . Was thinking about a Maverick now I'm settled on a 2 door Bronco .

Thanks! Are you talking about a Chrysler 300? If so, I have also had my eye on Copart looking for a potential rebuild of a 300 SRT-8 some day, I think that would be a fun project and there are a lot of junkyard 300s out there from which to source parts (basic parts anyway, not SRT specific parts)

Looks good.. Was pondering the white grill look as well on my black Bronco and then do those classic bronco side stripes that go up the fender by the windshield.

Really Nice! That's what I wanted from the initial announcement that the Bronco was coming back.... 2D dark blue with a white top, and give it a super retro feel... and then I order a 4D gray with all the bells and whistles! You are making me rethink my order! And for a first time wrap job, that's darn good man. I've done a few small wrap jobs, and they are not easy. You did quite well sir.

I had this same exact color 2dr bronco on order but I was getting a black diamond what you did was exactly what I was going to do but I canceled my order bought a fj instead. I'm glad to see iwould have been right in my vision of what it would have looked like .you nailed it best looking bronco I've seen yet clean and simple.

The white top does compliment all your other mods. Having 2.0 coming will give you a replay after the results sink in.
Exactly! 6 months from now if the wrap is not adhering well, I can paint my 2.0. But one thing is certain based on this test, I definitely want to keep the top white! Thanks for watching

Excellent job and thanks for sharing the process. I think the wrap is a great option; low cost, DIY friendly, and reversible if the need arises.
