Very nice video idea! Cool that even in the 60's there have been black participants. In every decade actually, hower clearly in the 90's the number of black participants has gone up significantly
Thank you for this video. It does shock me a bit that it took until 1998 for the UK to send a black entrant. The Netherlands seems to be tolerant with the first black and Asian entrants in the contest and kudos to them.
Are Frans (Sweden 2016), and Ben (Denmark 2020) really considered Black? I would more say they’re white with black parents. Also, where’s Flo Rida? Also, I feel like it would be cool to see a video with participants who are Asian/or Asian descent (Not counting the Caucasus and Israel as Asia).
@@evan-t-s No offence to anyone, but if you look at Malik, you can tell he’s Black. A light skin Black is definitely a thing, I just think that Ben is too far off from it. With Ben, I would say he’s 100% white. Obviously there is a possibility that he just didn’t get any of the black genes, since he does have a Nigerian mother. That being said, I feel like it would be safer to say that his mom is probably white, and has roots from European colonizers. You wouldn’t call Elon Musk Black.
