06 Ford Fusion Transmission Removal

Couldnt you just turn the transmission sideways and lower it without having to drop the frame?

Ya I tried that. Had to reattach the bell housing ant tail mount to drop frame.

Believe me I tried. Just not enough clearance to remove transmission

Whats the 2 wire connector/sensor on the front side near the slave cylinder?

I believe it's the reverse switch

Can you do this job without pulling engine or using a lift ?

Yes. Just need 2 stands and a floor jack
