06 Ford Fusion Transmission Removal

06 fusion. ended up doing rear main seal and a clutch set. anytime you have the transmission out it's a good idea to replace the seal. this customer had the clutch done just a couple years prior. had they done the seal properly it would have lasted much longer

Couldnt you just turn the transmission sideways and lower it without having to drop the frame?

Ya I tried that. Had to reattach the bell housing ant tail mount to drop frame.

Believe me I tried. Just not enough clearance to remove transmission

Whats the 2 wire connector/sensor on the front side near the slave cylinder?

I believe it's the reverse switch

Can you do this job without pulling engine or using a lift ?

Yes. Just need 2 stands and a floor jack
