EiS on the V50 pro is actually not so good, the V50X is much better but the footage quality is better here than the V50x. Still waiting for their Brave 7 to come our, then I'll decide when to get.
I don't think you can. It's not like using a GoPro or DSLR that reverts to just the external mic when it's plugged in. I use my Zoom H1n and a Sony lapel mic for all my audio outside of my studio.
question dave, does it record in fish eye or does it do normal. because I have a action cam and I have to change the fish eye look in my editing software. this is the one I work eventually, great job
Yes, it did have that in the 2 highest settings but in the 2, more narrow settings, it has zero fisheye. I am doing one last video on this camera, to go over the settings, and I will show landscape shots instead of having it focused on me, like vlogging. I thought it showed the very small fisheye effect, in my video demos, but I will try to show it better in the next video. Be looking for that. If all the cheap action cameras out, I think this one had less distortion than the rest but suffered in the width of it's view, in the widest setting. This camera doesn't get as wide as my Dragon Touch or my GoPros.
Any good quality care will work. I don't recommend the cheaper ones for 4k though but you don't need the most expensive either. Speeds in the 96 or higher range should do just fine.
Got this camera and have a question about the angle setting, does the angle setting the camera Is set to show up on the touch screen? how do you know which angle you are using ?do you have to go into the settings to check which angle you are using?. Hope this makes sense sure there is a simple solution but having trouble sorting It out.
Yes, You do have to go in to settings the change it a and see where you are at. It would be nice if it was more like my GoPro Hero 7 Black. I think GoPro has the best settings menu out. I hope this answers your question. I still think that for what this camera costs. It's a very good option to those of us who can't afford to purchase a GoPro.
@@HayesTech David only just got the camera and I initialy thought the "M" under the video camera icon on the screen indicated the camera was In medium angle, thanks for clearing that up for me.I am not very techie minded so just feeling my way into settings and menu.
@@stevebrand1619 no problem. I never noticed the "M" before so I'll have to look at that. But I just go to the screen, in the right side and touch the double arrow icon and then touch the bottom right icon called settings (looks like a couple wrenches), then 4 more icons pop up (which are exactly the same as the first set that pop up but more in depth) and touch the top left icon called "video" (which will be a picture of a video camera) and then hit the first selection on the screen that pops up it's the very first setting called Video resolution. There you can change to are the different video resolution modes. How this helps
I noticed quite a bit of jelloing effects in the video where you were showing the green car. What resolution was that being recorded in? Also, was EIS on or off?
That was recording in 2.4k in the medium screen width. In the narrow width it cuts that all out, like a GoPro does. But like the GoPro, in the wider views, you get that "jellowing" effect. I use the narrow view for almost all the video I shoot with this camera and with my GoPro. I hate the wider look on all the action cameras. Thank you for the comment, it helps a lot of people out.
@@michaelbaxes4966 I'm pretty sure it was on. I always run with it on, on all my action cameras that have it. So it was on. It's not as good as what's in the GoPro Hero 7 Black but for an action camera for about $100.00 it's pretty good. Plus, I shake really bad since my second stroke so it is covering up a lot of shake since I hold the camera with my hand and no camera holders. Lol... You should see me walking...lol...
I will have to look and see. I dont use my action cameras as a dash cam so I wouldn't know right off the top of my head. I will get back to you on this though.

I will have to look and see. I dont use my action cameras as a dash cam so I wouldn't know right off the top of my head. I will get back to you on this though.

I use NCH VideoPad pro for editing all my videos lately. It's a great video editing program.
