Usually the rugged phones come up short in one area or another, but the WP33 Pro is pretty well-rounded.

The only cons I've seen about this phones imo is that I can't find any forum or anything saying these phones get Android 14 or plus

These type phones never get Android updates, if it's 13 in this case and will stay there until the phones dies as the apps only work on Android 13 in this case, the latest does not mean the best ,fullstop

@@tomcleary2785 doesn't that make spending money on these phones a waste of it?

Would installing something like LineageOS on this be ideal? Since you're not getting many updates

This one I've actually had a while. At least since January I believe.

How long have you been using it?

i've been using it for a month and i dropped it once on some pavement and the screen broke. I think the advertisement on the phone is rather more indestructible for data rather than for the screen itself. Even though i have warranty i don't want to wait 3 months to get my phone back from china. So i ordered the tools and screen replacement kit from Ali-express for this phone in hopes i can just change the screen myself + i ordered a screen protector aswell.
If you're going to get this phone i hardly suggest getting a screen protector & to get something more sturdy instead of the strap on since the strap on already broke aswell. I can still attach it but it no longer supports putting it on on the table sideways.
If you want your own tools on this, i'd suggest buying it also from ali-express soon than later because shipping isn't ideal. I gotta wait until the 20th and i don't have a phone rn to use further.
The only reason why i want to repair the phone and not buy a new one is because the features far outweigh any other phone i've come across. Put this thing underwater and it'll not break. (i wouldn't suggest doing a full dive either for testing. Since, i did that & the quality of the speakers deteriorated, it isn't as loud as i have first got it.)

@@SkemmiesGaming yeah the screen will always be a weak point. glass will always break if it fall on en uneven surface. the extra weight only makes it worse.
i have the oukitel wp 19 and so far it survived every drop.
I would probably also just try to repair it myself if the screen ever breaks.
How did your repair go? looks like your comment is already 3 months old
