Oh! I'd recommend Mistletoe Mudrers on Audible for a similar vibe. Small town, murder mystery, slow burn, with a Christmas subplot. And the girls voice is Colbie Smulders from How I met your mother which is a plus. There's 3 in the series and a very enjoyable listen. Merry Christmas!

I really liked the humor and the main character in this book in the beginning. The grief was done SO WELL in my opinion and made me cry so many times! The romance was more lusty when they actually got together in my opinion and kind of ruined what I had liked about them. I feel like I'm in the minority here though 😅

🧩 I’ll admit I thought the main character was (I hate to say) annoying at first. But the ending redeemed the whole book for me and I finished it in three days. I literally cried 😂 so definitely worth powering through the first half if you felt the same way I did in the beginning. 3.75⭐️ rating for me!
