Top 5 Favorite Books of 2024 1. The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab 2. Powerless by Lauren Roberts 3. This Time It’s Real by Ann Liang 4. Addicted After All by Krista & Becca Ritchie 5. Just for the Summer by Abby Jimenez
this was so fun!!!! i loved seeing ur fave books and comparing them to last years favourites🤭 my top 5 books this year were: 1. just for the summer 2. play along 3. the fake out 4. into the dark 5. as long as the lemon trees grow
I 110000% understand Into the Dark's #1 rating. As someone who recently lost my father, Jessa showed grief in the most accurate and personal way (for me). I was talking to my dad the way Magnolia was talking about *******, texting him the same, grieving him the same, and it was just a LOT. I had to take breaks here and there just because of PTSD, but when I was done, it truly felt like a big, tight hug and I still can't get over that feeling. 1000/10 recommend and 10000000000% agree that it deserves the #1 spot!!!
Love the Beartown appreciation! You’re so so right about the way he finishes a sentence, it’s just immaculate 🥹 My fave book this year was A River Enchanted by Rebecca Ross 💭
The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi is probably going to be one of my top books of the year. The audiobook specifically was amazing! I read it in January and still think about it all the time. I also adored Daydream by Hannah Grace! The quality of the relationships she created in that book were *chef's kiss*
Watching your videos this december has become such a nice thing to look forward to. This month has not started the best, and watching your videos has been such a nice break.
the way you almost started crying talking about MP Into the Dark 🥹 you introduced me to the series and it has also gained such a special place in my heart. It has cemented itself in my mind for life. I have no one but you to thank for that
I’m so happy Firefly Lane is one of your faves!! I read that a couple months ago and it is easily one of my top faves and now I need to read every Kristin Hannah book!

Video idea: Five star book tag - take all ur five star reads and then draw a prompt and choose from the five star reads, the book that fits the prompt the best
I have to say- I like sci fi books (some of them) and I don't like Red Rising. So don't write the genre off too soon. But it is true- you might just not enjoy the genre. I'd say try Project Hail Mary
If you want to give sci-fi another try, i really recommend project hail mary, it reads like mystery & adventure, Red rising reads more like an epic fantasy, scifi is just a tiny bit of it. Which is why maybe you don’t vibe with it. I prefer project hail mary rather than red rising.
My fav was probably The Seven Year Slip even though it took me a while to get into it. I also loved Funny Story and Just for the Summer and enjoyed The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches soooo much 💞💞
Same I LOVED 7 year slip and dead romantics… once you get into it and realise what’s happening!! A novel love story however… no!! I hated it except the last 5% which was cute! I was toxic and kept reading hoping I’d love it as I’ve seen it get good reviews! That’s my goal for 2025 to not to be toxic and not read books I hate xxx
My top 5 : 1- Darling venom by Parker S Huntington 2- Hello stranger by Catherine Center 3- Imagine me by Tahereh mafi 4- The queen of nothing by holly black 5- Things we never got over by Lucy Score
looovveee these sit down videos! my top five of 2024: 1. my policeman (bethan roberts) 2. daisy jones & the six (taylor jenkins reid) 3. anxious people (fredrik backman) 4.happy place (emily henry) 5. crooked kingdom (leigh bardugo) love u queen!!! keep slaying with the content!
My top five is 1. Never by Jessa Hastings 2. Love redesigned by Lauren Asher 3. Dance of Thieves by Mary E. Pearson 4. Everything We Never Said by Sloan Harlow 5. The Assassin’s Blade (read this one first & bawled my eyes out) 😭🫶🏻
