India has the potential to become 99% dependent on green renewable energy. The remaining 1% (fossil fuels) can be drilled along the coastline of India. In this way, India will not need to buy Middle Eastern oil and gas, which could save the country billions of dollars every single year. These extra money could than be spent internally on infrastructure/ development/ uplifting the poor etc.

Nice! Floating solar PV systems have another advantage, I think, in that they'll help reduce water loss due to evaporation. From what I once read, that's a fairly significant source of water loss. If that can be plugged as a side effect, then it's a win-win.

I think government is taking a lot of initiatives in field of clean energy. Of course they need to do much more and they will do it in years to come.
But what about the people ?. A lot of people in India can easily install solar panels in their homes and actually have the economic prowess to do it but we haven't done enough ourselves.

1.Will the solar panels devices which in the river affect the ecology ? Hinder the flow of rivers ?
2.How to protect the corrosion of solar panels on the bottom from the algae or slime (biofilm) ?
3.What 's the cost-performance ratio of the floating solar panel device apply in this model? Decrease every year ?
To develop the solar-powered system is good, but you have to actually face the problem and come up with a solution. That will be helpful to the sustainable development of green energy. Thanks.

I think government of India itne sare jon mega dams unpein sabhi karna chahiye and focus more on this because it doesn't consume land it doesn't need grid to be arranged to supply electricity and it will prevent water from vaporization I think this best idea I think government should focus more on this

  • @joydasgupta9445

In dams upstream reservoirs if floating solar panels r kept & anchored from the bottom then when reservoir level reaches to the top the anchor wires get stretched & will become very loose during reservoir level very low.
10 years later when these panels & wiring will require more maintenance then installation on water may become a hazard 😐

We have not yet fully utilised the solar and wind energy. Each and every house should have solar sheets so that they can use the non conventional energy. Cheap after installation! All the Governments should concentrate on this so that they can smoothly pass on the scorching summer. The Solar Sheets should be refrained from all taxes. ime. Tax free!
