    Thanks for the video. I searched for a year to get an answer to using momentary switches no my GT 7.5 kw inverter . Do you have any idea on what size braking resister I should get for my 19 in 3 hp bandsaw and this inverter. Thanks

    Your use of the term normally open and closed is backwards. The stop button is normally closed, the fwrd button is normally open and the rev is normally open. Closing (pressing) the fwd or rev button will activate the power to the motor for either forward rotation or reverse rotation accordingly. Opening (pressing) the stop button will deactivate the motor power.

      This is video which is a three-wire control. Usually two - wire control is used.

    Hello, is it possible to use the +24V terminal (positive) and the COM terminal (negative) to power the VFD relay itself? I would like to connect a 24Vdc led to the relay output but using the internal 24v source.

    THE STOP IS CLOSED ACCORDING TO THE METER AND THE FORWARD AND REVERSE ARE OPEN. ALSO YOU HOOKED THE REVERSE TO S1 AND CHANGED THE PARAMETER TO 1 WHICH IS FORWARD.

      Yep. He calls all closed switches open and all open closed. Thankfully he showed it with a meter so you can see what it correct. Also he set the reverse to fwd and fwd to reverse.

    Please correct this video. It is very misleading to call an NO closed and an NC open. This is just amazing after spending hours trying to figure it out from the chines manual which was translated by google translator. Grow up to the task already. Other than that it is a great product , great vfd for that price, too bad that. The video is absolutely informative but please correct the text. Thank you.
