This sprayer is great... Only downfall was when the battery got low, it would start to spit out paint and not shoot continuously... This was when the 2ah battery was out and it would drain the battery pretty fast.. Then the 4ah battery and it runs longer with less spray spitting... Now i got my Dewalt to Ryobi adaptor so i use my 6ah dewalt battery
Ryobi also has a 6ah and a 9ah HP battery... They also had a 3ah P191 for a bit that had 21700 cells inside. If you can get your hands on one of those you'd be happy too.
Keep the sprayer at right angle to the surface at all times - and always at the same distance, your technique is what makes a good finish. Basically keep your wrist and forearm locked at 90 deg to the surface and let your body, legs and shoulder do the moving.
I wish Ryobi made an adjustable tip and adjustable pressure cordless texture sprayer. Something small for doing spot repairs and for stairways, hallways, and small closets where hoses and cords can cause problems and force me to spray at such an angle it is sometimes visible even after painting. If it could handle aggregate(popcorn cieling or sand wall) that would be even better but even just orange peel would be better than nothing.
yeah you should clean the rig as soon as you're done spraying and keep it clean make sure it's perfectly clean each time before you put it away and then there will be no issues secondly the batteries I use the big battery in it last for maybe an hour
