Awesome collection! Very impressive. I’ve been a Joe fan/collector since 82 and have the vintage figures and vehicles from 82 thru 86 including the Flagg, Battle Platform, and soon to acquire, Terror Drome!
Very nice collection. I spent so many afternoons after elementary and middle school in the late eighties early nineties up in my room playing with these guys at my desk. I dreaded school as a kid, and playing with these made me forget all that. I got really good at moving the arms and legs of the figures with one in each hand so they would fight in hand to hand combat. The articulation was perfect. It's like they wanted to make the toys fun to play with for kids and not just flashy looking so people would buy them.
Very nice collection........ my 2 cents worth ........ It would have been better for the viewer, if you had started from a distance & panned left to right first, then came in & focused at where you wanted to start. Nothing wrong with getting up close & personal, however, it makes it very difficult to get an idea of where you are in the collection & the scale of it. One day, I hope I can set mine up....... when I have room 😥
Picking a Terror Dome up next week from my local vintage toy store. Should of got it last week but I passed on it.. but I have an appointment with them on the 14th to sell them some GI Joe stuff so I will pick it up then.
The Terror drome is awesome. I remember seeing it way up on the top shelf at Montgomery Wards and wanting it so bad. I'm glad I picked one up a few years ago.
