Loving these videos. It's fantastic seeing what can be done with the game, even in its current early stages. Learning so many great tips. Also loving the highly detailed smaller builds which are a refreshing change from the longer format series' that most cs creators are doing. Keep them coming.
I've been hoping people would do more videos about photo and video mode. Thanks for this one. I've struggled a bit with trying to program the moving video camera but would love to play with it some more.
Very nice... I'd totally forgotten about adjusting shadows and highlights (and midtones) for contrast purposes. I shall not skip this tab from now on! Nyoko has a new mod coming out to replace the Photo Mode mode though: "Color Adjustments" and that, I gather, handles all the lighting stuff in a better way than simply locking the colour adjustments made using the Photo menu. (and means first person mode on a trail camera should work again)
@tigonologdring9189 thanks Tigon! yep i actually saw that last night AFTER i released this video haha, great timing. but looking at it, i dont think you can recreate my settings how i like them. it only has a contrast setting, and not individual options for Darks/Mids/Lights. I find the contrast slider not to work as nice as its not a finer enough control and the image ends up looking over saturated/over contrast.
When you zoom out and start working on photo mode clouds, the game already looks amazing, so much better than mine with all settings on max. You must have some other visual mods working? My trees look like distant cartoons, your roads, buildings and trees look like a google maps satellite image, what's your mod list?
i am wondering how do you remove the jagged edges, i have anti aliasing on (high smaa 8x sub pixel) 1920x1080 resolution but still i have no wehre near your sharpness
@@sully_skylines time for me to scale up than to a 4k monitor all tho i turned on taa and its much better now. Also the settings you change in dev mode cant be saved right?
Such a great tutorial I will be referring back to this a lot! Thanks dude!
@twodollarstwenty thanks pal! Really glad you found it useful and also very much appreciate the share too 🙌
TH-cam really needs to work that algorithm for you. Keep up the amazing work cant wait to see your next big build. You should give us a city tour.
Thanks City Rat :) Yep already half way through my next big build, and it's guna be a good one. My first modded build on YT for CS2 :)

Thank you! yep the plan is to keep to small or one off builds at least until PDXmods is here

Fantastic tutorial! Thanks for sharing your process for this; not many other TH-camrs focusing on details like these!

@@sully_skylines Probably worth mentioning it in the CA thread as something to add for a future iteration of the mod.
I wish they work more on the visual aspect of the game and fixing the lighting and clors problems in some season setings and some times of the day
Very helpful information. Thank you for sharing 🙏
You recitilises my view of cities skylines II

Use Lumina, but i think this method works better for me, thanks!

I’m on a 4K monitor, maybe that’s the difference in sharpness?! I’m not sure exactly

Really stupid that cs2 doesn’t have steam workshop, we will have mods any way why to make things harder….
theres a paradox mods so people that have xbox gamepass can also mod the game so its better
@@SLAT_GANG866his comment was before paradox mods was released
I don't need this i need FPS lol
