  • I think I’ll be settling with this grinder until further notice. This is the best quality grinder for my brewing needs, at a reasonable price. I think the Comandante will be more consistent, but I am not that much of a purist to be needing the uniformity in particle distribution. I consider it a collector’s item to be bought in the future instead.
*Instead of WD40, try animal fat as lubricant!*

thanks for showing clear instructions on how to calibrate ! more people need to know about this grinder, its really amazing for its price in a world full of premium handgrinders that do more or less the same for almost double the price and use more plastic in some parts. Hopefully the blade stays this sharp for long

This video made everything clear and simple. After calibrating, i realized i prefer to just tighten the calibration nut all the way and deal with the start not being at 0. Instead of remembering how many turns to set it to get my number to 0. I like the grinder!

This video really shows the inside of the grinder, which makes it less alien of a thing for me. I'm not sure about adding WD40 though. It looks like you fully understand how to calibrate it, so if you can make a video on how to do it instead of talking about it would make me definitely watch you again. As for the number of clicks per rotation, you put 1 rotation = 10 clicks. I think it should be 40 clicks for a full rotation since each number is 4 clicks. Might want to correct your video. Even then, I think this made me understand my new grinder which arrived today, so thank you.

Got a coffee grinder with aliexpress. From 1 to 9 clicks clings with one side of the millstone. And with only 10 clicks, it scrolls without touching. Do you think this is a marriage? In my opinion, the shaft is not even! I thought from the first click there should be free rotation if everything is well centered. I haven’t ground coffee yet and hasn’t taken apart. I don't know what to do, whether to return it to the seller or not.

I think you should cut that part on WD40. some people might actually try that and end up ingesting it.
If you understand the purpose of those sealed bearings on the top and bottom of the tube you'll know there's literally no point in lubricating that shaft; even if you insist on lubing that part for no reason, there are food grade silicone based lubricants available in the market, even wd40 has them
