10 years ago, this week, there was great frustration and sorrow as George Zimmerman was acquitted on charges of the murder of Trayvon Martin. Trayvon's story SHOOK the world! Churches all across the world were doing "Hoodie Sunday" as a way to pay tribute & stand in solidarity with his family. Though this sermon from Dr. Cosby is from 2012, when remembering the 10-year anniversary of that jury's decision, it seemed appropriate. Dr. Cosby masterfully explains the life of Jesus & how he too, like Trayvon, faced many difficulties & even death, due to the color of his skin. Listen & think!

Good sermon, the church also need to address why do so many young black hate their own brothers killing one another in our community, racism is one thing, but let us look at the whole picture, the church need to get out in these communities and speak to these young people in the Streets 🛐✝️🙏

He is right a man I talk to a black man in prison 34 years for something he didn't do she was white and they won't let him out. I'm white and I am standing up for the right thing I love him and care about him very much. Jesus Christ is King 👑 Isaiah 61:1 says I was anointed by the most high God to proclaim Liberty to the Meek ,broken hearted ,the captivity and the opening of the prisons amen I stand on the word of God 🙏🙌 and I get looked down on to . And I have a hoodie and it says Jesus Lord of lords and King of Kings amen 🙌 I love everyone. I love my God Jesus Christ of Nazareth AMEN I love my neighbor as myself. Please pray for him. And there is many more in prison like that. God bless you all

It just look crazy. People have taken wearing hoods to another level. 100 degree weather and a person has a hoodie on. While you at it looking crazy men in the church and walking around in the house with a baseball cap on. Take them hoods off. Unless it's cold. And leave them baseball caps at your door. Your home not a visitor.

I listen to your teaching but I still can't see how you get Jesus being dead for 3 days and 3 nights from Friday to Sunday morning.

Jesus was not lynched. I can’t stand when people take the scriptures and manipulate them to get the crowd to engage in their foolishness. Jesus said no man takes my life but I lay it down and have the power to take it up again. He didn’t die because of the people he was around, He die for the people he was around. Even the one’s that sought to crucify Him. When we were yet sinners He died for us. Y’all, read your Bible. Please!
I agree with the substance, but not at the Sunday Worship service. The Pulpit isn't for activists or activism. It's all about Jesus Christ and Him crucified. What use is it presenting this when it's a possibility that no one in the place is saved and even if they're murdered end up in Hell. The problem is Sin, the Solution is repentance and acceptance of His Grace. People get killed everyday. You have more of a chance of being murdered by someone you know than any stranger. Ya'll all need to repent. On both sides. This is a spiritual war. Not flesh and blood. The people that are saying Amen and Hallelujah are Spiritually blind. Would he be so outraged when Black's are murdering Black's. Lastly the Obama are some of the most racist people on planet earth.

Sadly, that young man died in his sin and is in hades awaiting the final judgment when he will experience the lake of fire forever. Unless a man is born from above... Jesus said. No one here is saved from their sins and have been delivered from the power of sin in their hearts. See Revelation 6:12-17 20:11-15 Matthew 7:13,14,21-23. Repent and be saved! The wrath of God is upon all false and blasphemous Christian denominations. Seek the Lord while He may be found call upon Him while He is near. Isaiah 55.
