@@justanotherbrian I know that video but it is for a smaller mandrel. The mandrel in this video here is bigger. Thats why i must have the length, the outer diameter and the pin spacing for this mandrel.
@@donaldspice2731 The diameter of the mandrel just need to be bigger than the object you are covering. The spacings are largely irrelevant. In this video the left and right pins should be offset from each other by about 30 percent but it all works out in the tightening.

I’ve been tying a Matthew Walker immediately after the Globe Knot but the way you tie it with the eight strand star looks much better. Thanks
