National Eucharistic Procession at Winnebago, Neb.

The National Eucharistic Pilgrimage passed through northeast Nebraska on Saturday, June 22, 2024 with a stop at St. Augustine Catholic Church and Indian Mission in Winnebago.
Catholics from as far away is Sioux City and Omaha joined in the local Eucharistic procession through the northern part of the city. The group walked through neighborhoods to the clan statuary garden, where are prayer service was conducted, and returned the same route.
The stop in Winnebago is part of the St. Junipero Serra Route, one of four routes leading to Indianapolis for the 10th National Eucharistic Congress, the first in over 80 years ago.
