I watched several apple cobbler recipes and yours is the ONLY one that looks like RIGHT! Thank you for being you! The other videos had me stressed out!
This is my 3rd time making this cobbler since October...absolutely delicious. My husband LOVED it. Thank u for sharing this amazing recipe...the apple juice and lemon zest takes it to another level.
I have to make this! I think my husband will love it with a scoop or two of vanilla ice cream! I'll let you know if he goes back for seconds! Thank you Princess!
OMG! This is soooooo delicious. I made this for Thanksgiving...big hit!! This will be made for Christmas too! But I'll have to make 2...lol Thank you for this. 💞
You can add a little water but its not needed only because the apple juice was added earlier so if you want to mix the cornstarch with about a 1/4 cup more of the apple juice that would work as well...The cornstarch is just a thickener but you don't want to dilute the flavor so try a little more apple juice instead.
This apple cobbler is delicious! I made it for Christmas and the flavors were perfect with the perfect amount of sweetness. Thank you for sharing this fantastic recipe for fresh apple cobbler! I was tempted to try the caramel version but this is so delicious I'll wait and try that. I'll be making this again and I'm looking forward to trying your other recipes, especially the peach cobbler! Thank you again!
“Ok here’s my feedback on your apple cobbler recipe! I made it just like you did other than doing a lattice style crust! “Drum roll please 🥁 no refund is needed at this time 😂 it was very delicious I learned something different thanks to you. the flavors are just what I was expecting for “mmmmm ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I hope your thanksgiving was well and blessed 🤗💕💕💕
This looks so good! How thick is the mixture once it’s done? Also, I am hoping I can add some caramel pieces to the filling after it’s poured into the pan to make a caramel apple cobbler. Think that will work? Gonna try this recipe either way!!
The mixture is pretty thick once its baked in the oven and yes I use the Caramel Sauce....if you use the caramel sauce its used as a thickening agent as well so just halven the amount of corn starch and add the caramel sauce after the mixture comes to a boil cook for only an additional minute only do not over cook with the Caramel sauce...then you can add your apple mixture to the pan it also brings a very good sweetening to the Cobbler use about 1/4 cup of the caramel sauce. Let me know how it turns out!!!😊😊😊
So sorry I didn't cut into the cobbler this was actually cooked for a dear friend but the crust usually comes out flaky and crispy...I hope you have tried it.❤
I'm 73 years old so I cut down on all that butter. I make my own crust(butter😊) Other than that it's a marvelous recipe!!! I like a juicy cobbler. You're ALL THAT! ❤❤❤

@@SouthernCookingWithPrincess I made two cobblers yesterday. Everyone loved it. My son will be taking one to work tomorrow. P.S. I Also added some fresh pears. I think next time, I will add 1 Tbsp of cinnamon instead of 2 because of the nutmeg. Thanks again for this wonderful recipe.
@@monica204laurel Awesome!!! Sounds good!!! Pears??? Hmmm I gotta try that!!😁😁😁 Yes if you prefer more cinnamon instead of nutmeg that works as well I've made a few for people that preferred just cinnamon and no nutmeg so thats Fantastic!!! So glad your family enjoyed it and you put your own into it as welll!!! I love it!!!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊
Made this tonight, except for the nutmeg being overpowering it was delicious! Next time I'll use only a 1/4 tsp that should do it! Best cobbler recipe yet!
“Ok I went out and bought the ingredients to this apple cobbler recipe to make on thanksgiving day. if it’s not to my standard I’ll be requesting for a full refund..😂 just joking I can see already that I’m going to enjoy this 🤗💕💕
Yes double them but it also depends on how many more apples this recipe has soo many apples throughout the entire cobbler but if you only wanting to add like 1 to 2 more apples just make sure to cook them a few minutes longer on top of the stove and you may not necessarily need to double the ingredients just add a bit more and do your own taste test to your liking.
Absolutely!!! You can use whatever type of apples you like. I just like the granny smith apples better but yes of course you can definitely use red apples as well.

looks good..gonna make it tonight. what do u think about mixing a little water with cornstarch before adding?

Mixture will thicken not too thick but just right so it will not dry out
Treating myself to THIS next week! 😍

uhhhhhh, no u didn't not take a piece out. giiiiirrrrrrl.
If I use more apples do I double or triple the other ingredients
Yes double them but it also depends on how many more apples this recipe has soo many apples throughout the entire cobbler but if you only wanting to add like 1 to 2 more apples just make sure to cook them a few minutes longer on top of the stove and you may not necessarily need to double the ingredients just add a bit more and do your own taste test to your liking.
Greetings
I just found your recipe. Few quick questions: measurements of pan? How many servings does this cobbler yield?
Thanks so much.
9×10 or 9x9 pan...depending on the slices it's up to 24 servings
how juicy is the filling when cobbler is done?
Very juicy but not runny
damn I added the egg into my apple mixture 🙈🤷♀️
Oh Noooooooo!!!! How did it taste?
Thankfully it was still bomb. think it kinda served as a thicking agent
Oh Wow!!! Good to know!! I'm so glad it was still good!!!!😊😊😊
Wat kind of butter you put in your cobbler
Unsalted Butter
Hi princess I have red apples can I use them instead of Granny Smith ?
Absolutely!!! You can use whatever type of apples you like. I just like the granny smith apples better but yes of course you can definitely use red apples as well.
Is the filling watery or thick?
Could you half this recipe? How long in oven would you suggest?
Can you tell me what size pan you are using?
I probably missed it, what size pan?
