Welcome back to the Foxhole and BabyMetal's journey 🦊🤘🔥 It's been a while but I'm glad to see you around with more BM songs. Cool to see you reacting to this track, its even one of SuMetal's favorite from this album. I like the progressive metal elements, that heavy breakdown and the existential questions. There's also a reference to Macbeth in the lyrics besides the obvious lines famously known by Snow White tale. Here's some official info: Mirror Mirror (MIRROR) _Mirror, mirror on the wall...this song embodies a parallel world where the world inside the mirror and the world of reality go back and forth._ _Is what you see in the mirror your true self or the self you wish to be?_ Mirror Mirror was the 5th and final single they released from this new album called The Other One released in March showing us a new sound and a BM side we've never seen before with this metalverse. This was at BabyMetal Begins - The Other One - Clear Night live at PIA Arena MM, Yokohama, last April 2nd with MomoMetal debuting as the new official third member, she was one of the avengers since 2019 and we're all proud of her, but don't think this as a replacement of YuiMetal, she's like a new incorporation to this group for this new lore and metalverse era. Also the BM logo change, it doesn't have the skull and the heart in the B letter, as well there's only three feathers in the logo unlike four prior to this. The Western Kami Band was in charge of these shows, none of the musicians are official members and they don't have credits, only the composers, the girls are the only official members, but if you wanna know more about them, they're here since 2019 helping the girls on tour and some of them comes from another band called "Galactic Empire" with Star Wars theme, they're: Chris Kelly and CJ Masciantonio on guitars, Clint Tustin on bass, and Anthony Barone on drums (he's former Shadow Of Intent member and worked independently), recently on the World Tour already finished they switched the bassit for Ryan Neff from "As I Lay Dying", this is a common thing you'll see in this band even with previous Japanese band and before them with a fake band called "baby-bones", they started using a whole different crew of musicians and later they found somewhat the stable set when doing concerts but like i said, sometimes switching members here and there until now They performed this at Sabaton's Europe Tour, Asian/Australian Tour, The Babyklok Tour in the US and more recently at the Europe & UK Tour, everyone were having a blast with their classic songs and the new ones, and more is coming next year so i hope you can get the chance to see them live. Next suggestion to enjoy early era songs: - Headbanger!! live at Legend 1997 (2013), you can find this clip safe to react at Gans Tomas, next week it'll be 10 years anniversary of this show as well SuMetal's birthday. This is a compilation from the two-day shows on April 1/2. If you watch it carefully, you will notice the difference in symmetrical mirror image of Su, Moa and Momo in the introduction. The parallel two images in different outfit are from Day-1 and Day-2 respectively. (For Momo, with or without mic, too.) The fast passages quoted from "Macbeth" by Shakespeare were sung by Moametal on Day-1 and by Moa / Momometal together on Day-2. 😍 The band is West (American) Kamis. I appreciate their dedicated support and Chris, CJ, Anthony, Clint and Ryan are really unsung heroes. Regarding the contrast between English lyrics and Japanese lyrics, Su said "I understand that two languages express two-facedness of human being". [Source : magazine PMC vol.27 page 39] So the difference between almost natural voice and effected voice may be intended to emphasize the dichotomy.

Akatsuki (Budokan 2014): Lead Su-metal solo, absolute vocal prowess from a 16-year-old. 5). I think you’d like some of their older stuff even more, their older songs are a lot more heavier than the ones you’ve reacted to. I think you’d like Road of Resistance live in Japan, Catch Me If You Can live, and Rondo of Nightmare live, for starters
