P.S. as someone in the US who loves sports, their first SuperBowl snacks video annoyed me. So when the owner, Michael, brought out the Brussel Sprouts I was roooooolling! 🤣
Even at home, the Superbowl isn't a party, it's an entire event.
Just so y'all know, Queso is Spanish for Cheese so James will love it.
When you’re eating barbecue you don’t stop eating until you physically can’t eat, the taste makes it easy to just keep eating lol
Rotel & fake cheese (Velveeta) is a staple at all parties. And yes, it is delicious. 7 layer dip is another party favorite.
I'm so glad they made an accurate one, I was rolling my eyes at the last one😂
I watched the last superbowl snack video they did, and I kept thinking, "who's punking you with these dishes?" 🤣
We're able to watch the game because we're flavor desensitized to this. That amount of in-your-face flavor they're discovering is a Tuesday for us.

And “salsa” means sauce.
These food are mostly eaten before the game outside in the parking lot when people are partying. The good old American "Pregaming"
By the way, just so you know, the Kansas City Chiefs aren't in Kansas. They are in Missouri. Kansas (the state) does not have a professional football team.
Chicken wings & chili con queso with tortilla chips. That’s all you need. And then just watch the commercials.
I live in Kansas City and we do love our BBQ here! We always have BBQ during the Super Bowl as well as queso, chips, etc. We have a bit of a different take on the salami with cream cheese in that we make them with flour tortillas with salami, cream cheese, pickles, and sometimes chopped black olives rolled up inside - very tasty!
A Shot of Pickle juice is also good to relieve Heart Burn!
And dehydration 👍 athletes in FL drink pickle juice quite a bit
7 layer dip is an American stable at parties too and its sooooo good😋

i 100% have gone to a superbowl party.. barely watched the game.. just ate.. drank some beer .. chilled with friends watched some cool highlights after hearing an uncle or father yelling
You could dip a shoe in queso dip and I would eat it. It’s unbelievably delicious.
Remember millions of Americans cook this type of food at home during the super bowl and several other times during the year. Just going to put this out there. Contact the restaurant (its in the UK) and see if you can come in and do a video or even pick up food and do a video somewhere else.
They’re in jersey its a good distance from the main island
You eat in between plays if there is a huddle or during commercials you use that time to eat one or two of the quick bite sized food items that you chose to have as a game snack...now for the much larger Super Bowl food item selection like the ribs, chili dogs, and Hot wings ( which the hot wings can be ate in between plays/huddles and commercials optional) those are all perfect for eating during the 30 minute performances part of Halftime
Yes, livestream the NY style hot dogs. You'll know they're not authentic if they come in a can though. Real American hot dogs come in plastic packaging
Hotdogs in a can is cursed.
And should be steamed or boiled, generic mixed meat dogs should be grilled.
Kosher all-beef hot dogs are the best.
These two guys have more fun than is legal.
If we’re talking traditional foods + sports, with an American hotdog, you guys should watch something baseball related. 😁 The food at Super Ball parties is also there for the people who’re not that interested in the game 😆 which is the group I’m usually in.

What’s good is different regions of the USA have different foods. I’m in south Louisiana so we can have stuff like gumbo, boiled crawfish, or poboys (think submarine sandwich made with French bread and different meat options like fried shrimp, fried fish, and roast beef)

Seven-layer dip is completely different from nachos. And both are completely different from chile con queso (Velveeta and Ro-tel, heated in the microwave).
The place they are at is in the UK. You can go there and eat this if you want to.

Nachos have the tortilla chips mixed in. This is a 7 layer dip. You scoop up the goodness with the chip. Actually less messy !

Of course it really matters where you are, but in New Mexico where I'm from a lot of our Super Bowl dishes have green or red chili or Christmas (both)!
It's really interesting how former English colonies evolved.... language, food, sports, customs etc... I grew up in central Pennsylvania (Thank you William Penn) but it was settled by Ukrainians, Poles, Czechs, Irish. An entire mutt of a country and they each brought something from Europe with them.
American food is fantastic… I think, we sometimes take it for granted here in the States.

Every year we watch the Super Bowl, the idea is either pizza or wings. Nachos, too. My stepdad did a crazy wings sauce this year, though it doesn't quite compare to Bar Bill in Buffalo (so far that's the only wings I've had IN Buffalo). All of these foods sound good INCLUDING the Brussels sprouts, though for hot dogs I tend to just get the 'Kraut Dog from Doghouse or Hot Dog Heaven. OR any Nathan's that still exists when I'm in the New York area.
Those weren't nachos. They were dips served with chips.

That was fun. I'm glad these guys did this. I watched their Super Bowl snacks thing last year. I don't know where they got their ideas from but most of that food was different especially the Brussel Sprots thing. Glad they got to try some real American Super Bowl snacks.

This is why obesity is an issue in the US. We find every excuse to make some tasty food and have a party.
The "mini burgers" are called sliders in the US
And are usually steamed burgers ala Krystal or White Castle.

Kansas City, Missouri is where the best BBQ is from. There is a Kansas City, Kansas but everybody confuses the two. So, if you hear or talk about the Kansas City Chiefs or the best BBQ, I'm from KCMO so I'm biased, then you should know it's the KC in Missouri that you're referring to. Chiefs Nation!! Mahomes know has 2 super bowl wins, 2 super bowl MVP's and 2 league MVP's. He's never played an away playoff game and he's played 5 straight AFC champions at Arrowhead. That's just unbelievable.

Depending on who is prepping and bringing the food., the food becomes more important than the game itself. And I have actually attended super bowl parties where once the people were eating, people weren't focused on the game, the food was that good and they were keeping tabs on the score, not really watching the game
From the KC area, live in Texas now. There is a huge difference between the two BBQ styles. Looking at the dishes, those are definitely KC style (though I am curious where the burnt ends are).
Describing Queso to someone that has never had it is tough, I believe you have mac and cheese-specifically the kind you get in a box at Tesco that comes with the cheese pre-made in a packet (not the powder you have to make yourself). Think of that cheese, but thin it out with milk (or better yet cream) to where it reminds you of that liquid in the bottom of a bowl of ice cream in consistency, add garlic, a little bit of heat (generally you want to use jalapeño but I've gotten it to work with Sriacha in a pinch), a dash of Worcestershire sauce and some freshly diced tomatoes and you'll approach an idea as to what queso is.
Its kind of a pain to make without the fake cheese (literally the only reason I buy the stuff) though it is possible (most Tex Mex places around here do it that way and have their own proprietary recipes).
It's hard to imagine that there exists a country that has made cheese dip illegal.

I liked the guy in the red shirt. Eat everything with fingers. Dude in green brought out the utensils for the brisket. A good queso should always be made with real cheese. Finger foods are best for Super Bowl as you can pick it up, eat it, stand up, jump around with it, and never take your eyes off the game.❤
If you want there’s a football movie that it’s talking about Texas football and the town there that you see is from my hometown and it’s also a true story and it’s talking about high school football so yeah.

Umm.. ranch never belongs on wings. Buffalo, New York who invented and perfected the chicken wing, uses blue cheese as a dip for wings.

Honestly, unless my team is in the Superbowl (Vikings fan so never gonna happen) I definitely focus more on the food and conversation. The game is just there to look at and listen to in the background.

Those ribs weren't cooked long enough. If you have to pull the meat off the bone, instead of it just pulling off the bone, it's not cooked long enough.

Okay, so, I've never seen some of these eaten at a superbowl party, but those ribs seemed a bit dry and chewy. And who puts the ranch on the wings? My buffalo, NY friends are crying lol. Also, for events like this, they usually are served in part, not whole. The drum and flat get separated at the joint
And if the wings don't make you grab for the beer with both hands, they have not been properly seasoned.
