Have been binge watching your vids since I forgot all the basics because of the long academic gap. But you’ve shared pro tips here that’s worth gold! I have to say, You’re the best tutor ever!!! Infact, you’re better than the paid tutorials I have taken! I give the best tutor award to you!!!! Thank you for making quality education affordable for all! I am sure you’ve helped & earned the goodwill of many underprivileged students! God bless you! I hope all students find you like I did! Hope I pass with flying colours in my GRE exam! Thank you 🙏🏻
Your channel is a goldmine for students of GRE. It is also a goldmine for anyone that wants to develop critical thinking, pragmatism, conceptualization, and lastly visualization. Thank you!
@@charleneconstantino1618 That's amazing to hear :)) Would you mind informing about how you found the qaunt section to be? Like, what resources did you use to prepare and how difficult you found it to be the test day?
Your great communications skills, combined with your detailed explanations are what make your videos outstanding. I'm positive this will help increase my GRE score.
Probability, ratios & Data Interpretation please I really love the way you teach sir. I have my GRE in 10 days please upload these topics. Thank you :)
@@TheTestedTutor Thank you is very little Sir I wish I could do something more for you.. I am glad I found your channel thank you very much sir may god always keep you happy :) I am sharing your Video's with everyone hope you will get few New subscribers
The best part of your video explanations is that it resonates with the thought process of most of the students which makes it easy to embed the concepts in our brain... really you are amazing, please if possible try to upload some videos on algebraic and modulus functions
I didn't know how to find the median for a group of consecutive integers, but I was aware of the median for a group of ppl. This made it even easier to visualize! A group of ppl is just a group of consecutive integers that starts at 1!. Lowest + highest / 2... (1+n)/2
Philip, I am so grateful for all your videos. They are so concise and helpful, and your little jokes and effects make me laugh out loud all the time. I also love reading through the comments and seeing the positive community you have created. Thank you! I will always recommend your videos to those studying for the GRE. You are the best :)
Thank you so much, I was having trouble to find a reliable and intuitive source to learn about median. Happy to be here, please keep on sharing more videos ( it really helps :] )
Hey man My GRE is in 2 days. I wanted to thank you again for all the well thought out videos. Here's some suggestions for you - I think you should "upgrade" your thumbnails to more interesting ones. Like you could add your photo as if you're confused about a core question like "is Mean=median?" But keep the titles same. Or better yet, make a chronologically ordererd playlist for them. like Week 1 Lec 1: Divisibility Week 1 Lec 2: Factorization
Great video and I just want to add a comment in passing - in case anyone is like me, and constantly gets the median and the mode mixed up ... I have found a way to remember it now. I simply think of road medians, which are found in the middle of two lanes and have like a tuft of grass or signage, etc. Ok... That third word problem you did. Those are the tricky ones....When there is an associate graph or chart or table... those are tough. Thanks!
OMG this is so helpful!!! In my first attempt I got this exact question and I failed it :(( I spent 3min on it and wasted so much time :( I can't wait to nail it in my second attempt!!
Hi Phillip, For the Medianth: when its not pertaining to salaries but only to an even number of people; then which person do you choose? ie. 4 people. 4+1 = 5 5/2 = 2.5. Do I choose the 2nd or the 3rd person? (this is an easy example for illustration, I understand the middle person of 5 is clearly #3)! Thank you for your help!
Short, Crisp and beautifully explained. Thank you for creating these videos. One question i had from this was : when you mention consecutive number will have same mean and median, does that rule apply to any evenly spread data?
Can you do a video on gre essays? And do you recommend getting the gre package ets power prep that grades essays for you? Thank you!! I love your videos!
I tried to a GRE essay video today but will try again tomorrow. Thank you for the compliments. If you can afford it and have plenty of time before the exam to practice then I would say yes.
What's the intuition behind the formula for computing the median for the consecutive list of odd integers? That formula looks a lot like how we back out multiples in a list of consecutive integers.
Mr philip thank you for this amazing video. I have one question when there's even number of people there is no need to add one right? i mean for example 24 people so divided by 2 we got 12 so the middle person is the 12th
Lets just establish the fact that this is the best video explaining the medians concept, like ever...!!! :)
Thank you so much Akanksha! That means a lot!
totally !

Btw I have a small doubt, to find the middle person in the last salary question, why do we add 1 to the total number of people before dividing by 2?
