Very Strange Noise Coming From 2002 Audi A6 2.7t Turn Signal Relay Part 1

*Update* (It's not the relay. I replaced the turn signal stalk and it's working again.) After I switched out my turn signal relay, the relay was making very strange noises. I thought I would plug the old one in but its still squealing. It did not start doing this until after I replaced the signal relay.
Please advise if you know how I could fix this.

Thanks for this, I have the same problem, I'll be ordering a new stalk. Mine wasn't as bad it was very intermittent. the original one didn't make any noises but the signals didn't work. So I replaced with a non Audi flasher and it made the buzzing noise. If I play with the signal stalk I can get it to change buzzing and stop. so I figured it was that, but thanks for confirming I'm on the right path... my worst fear was that I had some sort of other ghost electrical issue going on. I'll update when I get the new stalk.

+Eugene Thomas yes it did, the stalk was causing the turn signal issues.

Thanks for the reply! Mine started that noise very slowly but now it comes on when the turn signal is not engaged and sounds terrible. I'm ordering a new stalk and replacing asap. thanks!

Hello did you find out were that noise coming from. Did you get it fix?? My VW 2002 just started do the same thing. The buzzing come also come on when I turn signal light

I KNOW WHERE THE PROBLEM IS!!!!!!
The problem is in turn switch under the steering wheel!!!!!
YOU DONT HAVE TO CHANGE TURN RELAY!!!!! Just DISASSEMBLE turn switch under the steering wheel, CLEAN contacts in switch. Factory grease with copper dust from switching elements makes short circuit in contacts.
Assemble switch and everything works :)

So the flasher has to be ordered from audi to make the noise stop?

Yes. It was the turn signal stalk. I got a new one and the noise stopped
