I stayed up behind Tonsai as it's the cheapest. The water is super high because of the full moon I think. The jungle path is easier but longer but I also didn't know my first time and went the way you guys did! There is some great people at the reggae bar in between Railay west and east as well. Happy Travels

Hi guys from a very chilly, wet Wales. We're sitting cuddling under a blanket watching you in paradise. My Son and Daughter in law got married on Phra Nang beach. It was idyllic. Tonsai beach looked a very chilled out place to hang out. We were saying you'll probably be sore later. It looked so hot and bright there for your visit. We loved our time in Railay. The sea is so beautiful. Great video guys. Stay well and safe 🙏 🇹🇭

I think you are really lucky to see it like that and I'd love to see it like that! (maybe still with fewer people though 😂). Fortunately and unfortunately in 2019 we skipped it due to the mass tourism there. Beautiful beaches and stunning scenery though! A rock climbers paradise! Xx
It's the kind of place we would have skipped too before 2020, so happy we got to visit though, it was definitely beautiful!
Kayaking is definitely the way, we made the mistake of taking the boat and regreted it. Waiting to go back, hopefully it's still not too crowded. You guys should go try climbing the tiger cave temple (Wat Them Suea) just north of Ao Nang, worth a morning trip.
we might kayak it all next time for the experience! We will head to the temple at some point too

In the 90’s you got dropped off in waist high water at Railey East (coming from Krabi town) had to carry your stuff above your heads.
What was it like back then? We would love to have seen Thailand at that time.
Hi guys and Happy Christmas from Wales. My Son and Daughter in Law got married on the beach where you saw the shark. It was almost 3 years ago and it was idyllic. We had an amazing time at Ao Nang and Railay. We really wish we were there right now.

@@sergiomeza7525 it was awesome! I made a little video of a morning in bangkok, it was hot, when I went south it only rained for a day. Maybe 4 days of rain total out of 35 days.
Good time of the year to go, tons of people in the hostels, made some life long friends. Actually just came back from another trip, with a buddy I met out in Thailand!

Mario, so all those cool paths go from beach to beach ? Is there a way to hike in from Krabi or Ao Nang ?
Yeah you can walk fro Ao Nang beach, about 40 minutes.
Yeah you can walk between the beaches, but not from Ao Nang. There's mountains surrounding the whole area. It's $3 one way on the boat and it takes ten minutes, or kayaking for the day would be more fun! We saw on the map you can walk around the rocks on the other side at low tide, but not sure how true that is and it could be dangerous.
Gorgeous, dinner by that cave would be amazing if you timed it for when the bats leave . And that rose apple , I’ve seen them here in oz on trees but had no idea they were edible , I’ll try one next time I stumble across one. Have you found cashew fruit juice yet ?
They are delicious! It's like a pear texture but a very fragrant taste, it's incomparable to any other fruit.

I want to do it on Friday, but my wife is hesitant.
Not yet but we will pretty soon. Kayaking here is actually pretty safe.

Always a major conflict, especially when we share special places that we hope will not become too discovered. Railay beach is already very popular so tourism was expected, but we much prefer a quiet local beach!
Before the internet i was there…… stop attracting more people!!!!
