Thank you so much! This is very helpful to check I was following properly the rules. Nice examples! But in one example, when you building a power plant and you have to choose between two options, I think the first one (the power plant in the top) wouldn't be an option since the counduit is only connected to the pink plant
bravo per questo fantastico gioco; una domanda: durante il conto alla rovescia alla fine del round, l'automa guadagna punti vittoria perché non può ricevere denaro? grazie mille
I would like to thank you for the incredible work and I hope that one day you´ll make a video of the expansion. Your videos are wonderful! I´m very grateful for them, it helped me a lot to understand the rules of this game. I love playing solo most of the time, because it helps to memorize the rules and I also find it fun.
Thanks, great walkthrough! I was really interested in this game for solo but it seems the automa is a little too complicated and finicky to manage for my taste.
You've become a staple content provider for me learning about games, thank you! You wouldn't happen to know what tie-breaker to use if the automa can produce in more than 1 system?
Thank you very much! :) Automa will produce Energy using the system that will produce the most energy, and fulfill the highest possible contract from the Contract Office (if tied, the one on the right side).
@@nithrania-gameinanutshell thanks for the response, I didn't ask my question right, sorry. If more than one system produces the highest energy, is there a tie-breaker for that?
Hm, good question. There's nothing in the rulebook, so maybe you can use the codes (numbers) at the bottom of the column. The number may indicate the dam that will produce energy, and if there's no dam in that location then try the next code (number) etc., the same procedure as for building structures.
@@nithrania-gameinanutshell In the Polish-language rule book, there is an additional explanation (which I do not see in the English translation of the rules): "The Automa will produce Energy using the best production system available (i.e. the one producing the higher amount of Energy and applying the bonus/malus indicated on the Automa tile (and eventually the bonus activated on the Company board - in case of a tie, chooses a system that includes Neutral Dam; the next tie is broken by the Conduit on the current Criteria page - see page 9) ... "
Very nice introduction! With easy and logical introductions. But can you please give more examples about the build action? E.g. for the Conduits and different costs. Does the Automa player always decline everything he can't pay and only the others are "available spaces"? Because of this, I have some situations in my game, where he build it on very strange spaces :-) Espacially when there isn't a complete structure connection
Thank you! ☺️ Yes, sometimes the placements are a bit strange, and if Automa can't pay he will not build. However, in other situations he can be really nasty. 😄 Make sure you follow the tie-break rules for the building action thoroughly, they really make sense. However, some strange placements may occur anyway.
"The automa players never play with the executive officers" "They also don't use these bonuses for the third powerhouse" They use those in the Hard and Very Hard level of difficulty. "There are always 8 actions depicted" There are actually from 6 to 8 actions depicted.
Thanks for this awseome video! I now have a quick question regarding water placement at time: 10:09. You say that the blue player only places one water because the other would overflow. i get that. but what if the blue player has two dams? can he then eventually place the second waterdrop at another headstream which would end up on his other dam. Of course considering all rules you mentioned as well?
thanks . good work. just a question. at the end of the round, the automla scores pv instead of recovering the money?you make simple and constructive videos. Bravo
"If there are multiple tiles available, automa players always choose the top-most one." No, they choose the highest-level one. The rulebook doesn't say what to do when there are several tiles of the same level. Logic says the automa should take the wild tile, since it's objectively superior to a specific one at the standard level of difficulty.
You’re a very good and patient teacher! Thank you.
Thank you. ☺️
Thank you much for making these videos. Keep it up!
Crystal clear ! Thank you ! Thanks to you the automa mode seems more easy to understand !
The rules for the automa are a bit too vague at times, but with a little bit of houseruling Barrage is a fine solo game.

Thank you very much, Tomasso!
As I told you in Essen - Barrage is still my Best Game of 2019! :)

Tommaso you should allow/pay/sponsor the channel to mke a playthrough of the AI system.
There's almost none out there...
Thank you!!!!
Just got the game, thank you for the great solo rules walkthrough! This really cleared up a lot of questions! Kep up the good work!

To your question - the answer is YES. If the waterdrop would end up in their dam they can place that second waterdrop.

Yes, Automa always takes VP instead of taking money.

Too had it doesn’t explain the real tricky part wich is the construction’s priority criteria 😕
Škoda že není po Slovensky
Ak sa osvedčí "Hra v kocke Unplugged", tak určite spravím aj slovenskú verziu. :)
