I can totally relate brother. I have two Cambridge Concord wide margins. My first one is bound in black bonded leather which I've had since 2001. The second is bound in Burgundy calfskin which I bought on E-Bay about ten years ago for only thirty dollars. I use that one everyday and it's by far my favorite Bible. I'd like to get the one in bonded leather rebound in a good quality leather, but I doubt if I can afford it. God bless. I'm new to your channel.

I have a Cambridge Concord wide margin, and I love it so much. My only disappointment is that I was a bit overzealous when I first got it and didn't really have a plan for how I was taking notes, so some parts of it are very messy.
I just try to remind myself that it's uniquely mine though. :)

Yes. I know exactly what you mean. I’m totally out of room on some pages to take more notes. I’ve change mind on my approach to the book of Revelation and now I have little room on critical pages. BUT it has so much that I like to have at my fingertips.

Cambridge sells the Concord layout in all sorts of cover formats. I bought a personal concord in two-tone imitation leather soon after I was baptized, and it instantly became my favorite Bible. Nearly fifteen years later, I now own a wide margin concord from Cambridge. I'm also thinking about getting a regular sized concord in goatskin sometime soon.

@@BiblicalStudiesandReviews if I had to guess, I’d assume it was a Lambskin liner and a goatskin cover, is that correct?
As much as I’d love to fully wrap my Bible in Lambskin(For a Jesus parable sake) that’s actually the reason I only want Bible’s with Lambskin liners and not Lambskin covers. If you get a Lambskin Bible it’s best to only have it as a pulpit Bible that sees light use. Any time we plan to actually use the Bible a lot or carry it around with us we need to have a better lasting leather on the cover. I actually do love a Lambskin liner because combined with the goatskin cover I think it provides the best overall Bible flex, but it’s just a fact that you’re going to see the liner wear out first if it’s done with a Lambskin. If it was a goatskin liner I would guess they used a very thin piece. I think it’s wonderful to see a Bible with a slightly disheveled look from all its usage 😁👍🏼
      GOD Bless! ❤️

I've reviewed and have had hundreds of bibles over the years yet I never found the "one" ....The whole time I was really just wanting the Bible that started my journey....The NKJV OPEN BIBLE from the 80s.
I just purchased an old regular size off ebay it's what I want and all I really need. I'm not saying I won't use another Bible once in awhile but this will be my goto for now on.
My original was a glued edition and it's falling apart can't use ot anymore . I love the end of verse refrences and subject headers throughout the chapters. BUT most of all the topical index is awesome.
I might rebind mine eventually we shall see but for now I'm ok with the old genuine pigskin .
Thanks for sharing thisbokd video brother.

It’s great to find a Bible that really fits you. I have several nice Bibles but spend the majority of time in my Schuyler NKJV Quentel. It has most of my notes and like you, I can find verses easily.
A newish tool I love are transparent sticky notes. They are extremely thin and don’t damage the pages and are movable. You need to use an oil based pen or ball point pen to write on them. I find them so much better then regular sticky notes which warp the page.

Awesome video I'm awaiting for delivery today of a wide margin Sovereign, but am having 2nd thoughts now, & for some of the reasons I'm considering just ordering the Concord w/o even opening the package later today.
The layout/format of the Concord resembles my wide margin Scofield, so the Concord will make me feel more "at home", so I totally get how comfortable you are with the layout of the Concord & not parting ways with it. *2ndly...*
The Sovereign is a red letter bible which I'm not real enthusiastic about, NOR the single columns for Psalms & Proverbs I think it is. Decisions, decisions. I went back/forth before even ordering the Sovereign the other day, & "THOUGHT" I had settled on it. So tell me...
It's been a few years since you posted this, so did you have it rebound, & if so, can you share who it was you went with & your satisfaction with them & the process as a whole?
All the best to you in your search for truth, *MARANATHA!*
