On your website the Piwakawaka is listed as 6/6/-3/0, but on this video you put 5/6/-1/0. I am curious as to what the correct flight numbers are for this disc.
I'd say 5/6/-2/0 is what I feel. Baseline will be closer to that -3 and glow -1.5. If I throw flat or a slight hyzer it will turnover but pan nicely. On a steep hyzer is goes dead straight. I throw around 375 feet. It really rewards a smooth throw too. Good for teaching form
I won my Piwakawaka at a tounament last week. My thoughts on it are, that it is a really slow flying disc with a good amount on turn (felt like a -2) and almost no fade. It still went 105m (345ft) for me on 80% of power. If feels weird to see a disc moving so slow, but still get a good amount of distance... Lets see how it turns out in the next few weeks. The website, and other vendors websites now show the flight numbers as 6, 6, -3, 0. Started watching some videos and see people spitting out all these other different flight numbers. I'm so confused as to why you guys change the flight numbers so often. Is your plastic blend that inconsistent that each run flies differently? I really wanted a super understable mid for easy turnovers and the -3, 0 really appealed to me. However everyone says how straight of a disc this is. I already have straight flyers. What should I expect if I bought a current one claiming 6, 6, -3, 0? And what if I fell in love with it, and wanted to buy another in the future...would it have different numbers in a year from now and fly differently? Kinda scares me and makes me want to shop elsewhere. Any clarification would be helpful.
Scott Stokely swears by the Piwakawka in his ITB!
I love this disc...it's the heaviest in my bag. It's a great disc for windy days.
I've played quite a few single disc rounds with the Piwakawaka and wouldn't use anything else now.
