I played 40k when you got your rules from the "rogue trader" manual and then the codex for armies started to trickle out. Then a game called necromunda came out and me and my miniature collector mates went crazy so about 96 ish. Now this was a time when most models were made of lead sides from there bigger ones like leman Russ tanks and such what. I had a whole gang of lead rat skins as in the underhive 2nd addition rules you could do this. So I had a ratskin gang using the finest card board cutout and clip together level making GW provided. Things have changed big time in the last 20 years. I've still got a complete 2000 PTS imp guard army made up of mordian ironguard, a baneblade, commissar and a command squad somewhere. You can't even buy these models anymore. It was the time when their main sculptor blew his right hand off Manning a cannon at a re-enactment event and he learned two sculpt all over again using his left ✋ hand. God I loved being a kid in the 90s

Hey, Love the videos, big fan of your work.
I've been having a problem replicating the technique you showed to create the base plates. They keep curling and bending, even several days after I put the sprue goo into them, and having them flat between heavy weights. I've also noticed that even when trying to make flat plates, the plastic tends to deform and bubble as it dries. Have you encountered this, and if so, is there any way to counteract it?
