Had it sitting around since November just waiting til we had the time to set it all up. Figured we'd knock it out and make a video comparison while we was at it. Little long unfortunately, but probably the only sim related video we'll do most likely. So don't worry, we'll be back to our regularly scheduled car content next week.

Ya'll get a server going on Assetto Corsa and I am hands down getting in that server to play. Sim Racing is way more fun than it has any business being.
Yall need to get on BeamNG with the sim, its insanely fun with actual consequences. Super slept on sim for rally, drifting, and driving, not just for trashing cars. BeamMP for playing online

I just got myself a Moza DD setup, I have had the better version of that Obutto that chase has, for years, gotta summit racing seat on it now. Id love to come play with you boys to get some more seat time, always trying to find some people to play and hangout with.

Jet skis are fun. I've only ridden two, a 90s stand-up kawasaki on a lake with no waves and a sea doo spark in 4' waves on lake superior. Almost knocked myself out casing a huge wave, good times.
Now Dakota is gonna need to do a jet ski segment on my Rxt -X 300

This is wicked to see, i have always wanted to dabble into sim stuff. Just the cost is the deciding factor. I would start with a cheap basic set up at first and then upgrading if the bug bites me :D
IMO curved monitors aren't my thing, i would have to see them in person, but for a sim it would be a pass.
I like forza horizon 5 for a simcade racing game. I haven't dabbled with any other racers, except for dirt 2.0 that is fun but tough and would be better with a wheel.
I saw someone in my area selling a rig he had built with a dash and center console from a car. Pretty cool set up.

like half that sim setup...without a monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, subs,
etc. view sonic would possibly had worked with you honestly. (first "gaming") monitor
id bought was from them. had flicker issues, i solved posted the fix everywhere. now, i use a 40in
120hz 4k tv as my main. (if you check) you can get those 2k 120hz 32in AOC monitors used-like new right now for 170.00

Would like to build a simulator for my son and I. Do you guys have a suggestion on a starter simulator for a 2x4 budget? I can build a good version of your shop simulator. I just need good direction on the wheel, pedal and shifter combo.

gtx 960 is OLD af. depending on the CPU you could easily grab a 3070ti, 4060/4070 used for 250/350

And simshop is shady as fuck! Will cancel your order when you ask when they are shipping it! I bought 3 items and they were all free shipping and 1 was in stock and 2 were preorders! So they sent the one in stock and the next item came in stock and they wouldn’t ship it till my last preorder was in because they didn’t want to pay shipping 3 times. That’s not my fault and there website never says about they will hold items till other items are in and ship it. So because I called them out on it the randomly sent an email saying my 2 preorders were canceled because I was mad they were playing on shipping my second item that was in stock till they got my 3rd item that they didn’t even have a date for them to actually have them in stock. forza horizon 4 on controller because i like the open world racing games and car customization i don't like going in a circle or whatever on a track like this, but i play with alot turned off like steering assists and assisted braking and drive lines and have it on simulated steering and whatnot and also manual with clutch i play this way because i don't have a wheel or shifter want one always have just cant really afford one been taking care of my mom for yrs now and my wife and i do the best we can so i cant really get one like i want but id be happy with a wheel, shifter and pedals i could build the rest myself lol
