Seeing edgar get used in tournaments feels like a fever dream, but glad they found a niche use for him by playing together. Sure, he can't contain for long on his own and provides little for the team. Not all characters are created equally. However, amongst all the great characters getting banned, I'm glad they were able to use such a problematic character and put on a good show!
Yeah, it was indeed a great game! Indeed, Painter is not good, but seeing how they managed to use him give a little hope into knowing that every character work. (Some require a big help of the team and some not.)
That Naib is the reason I gave up playing Survivor Rank and started to play Hunter Rank more. Tbh, if you have skill, playing hunter rank in Hydra is less stressful than playing Survivor rank. Hunter rank you loose = your issue, your device issue or WiFi issues, no excuse. But survivor rank you can lose because someone doesn't respect the teammate in rank even though you kited 120 seconds doesn't even matter.
Even if you have good wifi, the server will always affect your ping 💀

Jeez, Painter is such a pain for the hunters. They forced an almost anti-harass hunter to bring excitement and still harass her for the win. The best part is: Painter has no debuffs, can pick up items, has good chair time, a lil speed boost and good support/stalling item.
I got into the same situation with a painter the other day. The rocket chair trait of his is seriously so strong if being utilized correctly

As much as this painter was great and all it still didnt changed that imo Painter needs buff. Like if not Forward harrasing and barmaids drink, Nanako would not have been able to rebound kite. And also be aware that this is tornament not some random rank, so ppl acaully do know what they are doing (not all the time but most of it lmao). So if it will be exact same setup with exact same hunter on some random rank match that would be at least tie for hunter, bc painter isnt that strong of a solo contiment character.
This 100%, shame that most of NA/EU dont care and play him anyway
Aaand most of NA/EU hunters also dont know how to play around his ridiculously easy to play around kit, so painters winrate confuses netease and they refuse to buff him
its funny how people ask for all the survivors to get buffed while they are already good enough. as a dragon hunter, yes you can counter him by not looking at painting, but a good painter would just place the painting in a tight area near the hunter. this way they would have no chance to counter. and painter's stuns are around 3-5 seconds each painting, which is even better than coordinator and some others, but they are not getting buffed. painter is decent in the meta, and any kind of buff would be unneceserally good. ( like 3 paintings, or being able to pick up the paintings )
@@DenizBey20 3 painting is ridiculously good and thats definitely a no, but considering that painter is pretty good when he has the paitings AS someone else is getting chased first, a buff that would make him slightly better in first chase could be good. some minor buff like adjusting the speed buff you get from placing paintings of something like that, getting 3% faster with first painting and then 1-2% with the second one. Then again, even 5% movement speed is ridiculously good against slow hunters like the feaster, violinist etc. What do you think?
Or then, you know. removing his debuff where the hunter can see him like entomologist. Ento leaves no trails so its crucial as a nerf for her, but painter? why would he need that?
@@DenizBey20 People play painter in any comp then wonder why it doesn't work, unlike the top survivors painter does not fit everywhere
Painter is fine, you literally have to kite like 10 seconds for a 4 second stun. He’s just not as used because the meta is support heavy and he’s purely contain.

Man, is it necessary for people to be so toxic, not you, but in general. Ymm got a 4k with Jojo iirc and still got crap for it? Is that what I heard? Even pros make mistakes it's really not necessary for people to dogpile them for it. It IS a competition, but it's also a fucking game people really need to chill out. Wasn't there also a team that heavily threw their COA matches in the final quarter? I also recall a team throwing a tie trying to go for a 3 man only to lose an extra point due to the sculptor getting Acrobat IN the doorway exit after tide ran out. And that wasn't a round that required risks to win, that was an early one. =_= Jeeze. As always tho, I love your commentary and hearing your disappointment was pretty amusing, it's nice that you want the best from them, but it seems like their end is near.
